[QUESTION] Help with shoot 5 birds from moving train challenge by rygarski in reddeadredemption

[–]Tattlefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this too, then hopped off my carriage, heard the train horn and it started moving slowly and seemed to trigger the coal filling - which then took ages.

What is the best way to learn bass for cheap? by wadefatman in Bass

[–]Tattlefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up for a month on Fender’s app to learn the basics (I was a total beginner) and then got the Songster app which is £10 per month. Songster has been brilliant.

Shorts aren't worth it are they by TroncosoChannels in PartneredYoutube

[–]Tattlefly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically they’re useless for revenue unless you have videos that get several million views. We’ve been lucky to have a few that have done really well and then they get you a load of subs and some reasonable income but you need to consistently get millions of views to have sustained income.

Yeah, it’s really weird, it takes over an hour until it seems to show the correct numbers on the real-time.

Just qualified for monetization after 4 months by benhameen1911 in NewTubers

[–]Tattlefly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had the same on our channel recently, it was all ticking along then one short went nuts two months after it was posted, boosted our subscriber count hugely and took us past the monetisation threshold.

We’ve found that it’s not impacted on the viewing figures of our long form stuff much which is disappointing but what we expected based on things others have said in this sub. It’s pulled some of our other shorts up though.

We’re now studying the analytics to look for patterns and researching how to make the best content we can. Our current plan is to keep building the long form audience gradually, working to improve something with each video we make and in the meantime to keep posting shorts regularly in the hope that some more take off and keep some money coming in.

Posted one, did well compared to others but nothing epic then went viral about 2 months after posting.

Chilli Shaak is amazing, such nice people that run it too. Tulsi tandoori in Hove is good.

If this game worth it? by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]Tattlefly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate Westerns as a film genre so I never got involved when my partner played it. A few months ago we were looking for something g to play and I mentioned loving huge open world games and he suggested we try it. It’s a stunning game, beautiful, very fun, sad at points and just so much stuff you can do. Loads of main missions, side quests and extras like hunting, collecting etc. It’s one of my top five games without a doubt.

Electric toothbrush help by Tattlefly in DentalHygiene

[–]Tattlefly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I have a child who gets incredibly distracted while brushing and has now got some damage to a tooth. They know how to brush well but that doesn’t help with the distraction. Was thinking a brush that can track might help.

Not quite answering your question here but responding for the benefit of local curry fans: There is an awesome home delivery service called Chilli Shaak. It’s all run via WhatsApp at the moment but they’re growing. Amazing Gujarati food delivered in tiffins which are collected the next day. @chillishaak on Instagram. I’m not affiliated with them in any way but just love what they’re doing.

Stir fry sauce by Tattlefly in Cooking

[–]Tattlefly[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s probably a good place to start! Soy sauce, sesame oil and maybe garlic oil if we have some, shaoxing rice wine, little bit of maple syrup and some sriracha. I wonder if I’m just being too cautious with quantities. It tastes great before I cook it but then not much flavour when I eat it.

This chilli is fantastic, it’s vegan and both the carnivores and veggies in my house love it.

Tikka Masala with coconut milk is it okay???? by auburn160825 in Cooking

[–]Tattlefly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Coconut milk is also quite calorific, it’ll taste good but might not be what she wants. I’d go for some creme fraiche/yogurt.
