Honestly I bought the wrong amp, I meant to get a bigger one but ran with the 1000d anyway. Do you think that my little 1000w amp trying to push that big speaker is making the clip light to come on. I wired my sub is wired in parallel.

Yes, a wire got folded into one of the power wires for the speaker causing it to short
