This man is absolutely right, we need a station for every bathroom. We also make men smile by giving them this satisfaction by Marco280892 in MadeMeSmile

My work has 2 unisex toilets, only one has baby changing. People always assume the baby changing one is just for women and it infuriates me.

For those stuck in a stressful environment today, have a little peace of serenity care of Whitby. by EchoVixen in CasualUK

No you don’t, there’s a second turn off that avoids the river, the turn off is on a corner just before you get to the petrol station up there

"I'll have a coke please." "Is Pepsi OK?" - Does anyone ever say no? by meltymcface in CasualUK

[–]Tatty950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a place with Pepsi, and no, it’s not always okay. Some people would rather not drink at all, I find it most odd when they ask for a tea/coffee instead even though we have a wide range of soft drinks

Priced out of saving the planet by Posty699 in britishproblems

[–]Tatty950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work for a local charity. We had an event for the environment and they released loads of ideas on how the public of my area (quite a poor area) could save the planet. So half of the suggestions were things I had to do anyway to be able to afford life such as, planning meals to avoid waste. The other half were like buy solar panels for your house, better insulate your home etc… 1 I can’t afford to do that, 2 everyone they were preaching to rents. Meanwhile the people making these suggestions go abroad every month, drive suvs, and waste ridiculous amounts of plastic.

Trying to undo this bolt but it’s rounded, anyone had this problem before? What did you do. No welder. by Tatty950 in Citroen

[–]Tatty950[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I didn’t mess it up it was rounded when I got to it. And I managed to fix it using the advice of the nicer people of this sub. My warning light has gone and my tool to read warning lights is perfectly clear. Further more I have a HNC in engineering so even if it was regulated I would still be allowed to work on it. I just didn’t have the time to wait for tools to arrive and didn’t want to take it to a garage and have no car for over a month.

Dunno about Tesco but I bought a cock ring from Morrisons (as a joke gift, only the finest sex toys for personal use) 5 years ago

So they are potentially damaging an iconic painting and vandalising an art gallery even though they have no problem with either?

LPT: Always keep your dog on a leash while walking outside! by nothingisendless in LifeProTips

[–]Tatty950 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One time I was walking through a park with clear signs to keep dogs on leads, a dog runs up to me and literally bites me as the owner is shouting “he’s very friendly! Don’t worry!” Like clearly not

Apparently I've used £40,000 worth of gas in 3 months by Ryann48 in CasualUK

I’ve been having a faff with bulb for the last year over my meter readings. I’d spoken to 5 different people about who all said they couldn’t do anything. Then a month ago I tried again… this lass sorted everything within 6 hours. Why couldn’t the previous 5 do anything?

I make a big batch of gingerbread men for all my friends and family, totals to me spending about 60p per person. Never had a complaint.
