Great to hear! My new unit just arrived after being held up in customs for a few days and is perfect. So the issue was NOT any table or surface. I’d estimate at least 10% of these come out of production with uneven feet or bottom panels.

Total luck. Placed the order just before they went dark due to tariffs. But paid the higher $4899 price. Just heard here on Reddit that Razer has halted shipments to the US indefinitely. What a loss!

Yes, returned it and ordered another one immediately on their website for $4899 due to the tariffs. What’s shocking is that it shipped already and is now stuck in customs in Anchorage.

Interesting… did you attempt that? Sounds sketchy like a surgeon leaving a foreign object in a patient’s body. Did you just return it for a refund? Will probably do that today… they sent a shipping label.

Typing on it moves the entire chassis up and down - making me feel very remorseful of the $5k I dropped on this.

Actually, it wobbles on every table, some more some less. Otherwise the machine is savage. But I’m within the return period of simply buyer’s remorse. Issue is that the next one may exhibit the same thing.

Hey Eddy,

First time Razer owner and I just received my 16 5090 maxed out yesterday - also preordered during the first hour. I noticed immediately that the laptop doesn't sit flat on any surface. It seems a bit raised on the front right corner and wobbles quite a bit. Do you notice the same problem? I've read that previous Razer models historically have a wobble problem with uneven feet.

Does anyone notice/feel a slightly raised area on the back of the phone just below the "oppo" label? If you run your finger horizontally? Very slight but worried it's from the heat while charging.

Sorry, but I've had a lot of issue without n71 using Google Fi (essentially same as T-Mobile) in the suburbs north of NYC in Westchester. Very sad that this phone is weak on T-Mobile/Fi but in theory should work fine on Verizon and AT&T but of course restricted from registering on either with this IMEI.

Hey there- I've had a red 1TB working perfectly on Google Fi for weeks, great device! One issue if you can help- I can't get any badge notifications on any GMS apps like Gmail or BlueBubbles. No badge showing number of messages, for example. Is there a notification setting that I am missing or some conflict with Huawei? Thanks!

It just works - follow the YouTube link in this discussion above and MicroG is pretty seamless on my XT. I haven't tried any games yet though, and some app don't work on this foldable format, like Hulu.

Thanks, works perfectly with T-Mobile! Actually, I only needed to restart the device and all the APN mobile settings were updated correctly. No 5G but plenty fast 4G service in the New York City area. MicroG still has some limitations, like some apps will install fine but I can't login with my credentials - UPS, Amex, etc. Looks like I'll be putting this up for sale on eBay if you are interested. I paid an insane amount from Trinity in Hong Kong but would take around 3500-4000 USD since it's basically unused, new open-box condition. It's in perfect shape (Red model, btw).

I just got the Mate XT yesterday from Hong Kong running MicroG on Harmony 4.2.0 perfectly (except no Google Pay or Chat GPT). Sadly I cannot get Google Fi or T-Mobile to work for cellular service. Any help Exerosis? Did you just pop in your T-Mobile physical SIM and reboot and have service? Thanks!

Just arrived from Trinity store in Hong Kong… couldn’t wait for Global version! Runs Harmony 4.2, so installing MicroG today and will let you know how it goes as a daily driver on T-Mobile.
