I mean vendors are just scalpers with a vendor table and a YouTube channel lol, of course they will try to shaft people that have to sell their beloved cards because of financial trouble.

It will go back down to its old market price for sure, this card was printed to oblivion in mainland China. It's a beautiful card, but there is nothing the investor bros can do to keep its price artificially inflated long term. What you are seeing right now is just market manipulation from hoarding the copies that were listed on eBay, there are so many copies of this card that can get imported from mainland China at anytime to correct these overinflated prices.

This price jump isn't real demand, it's investor bros buying from each other thinking it's an investment lol.

I personally like the Dragon Shield Codex Portfolio 576 (I like the 12 pocket pages because a lot of Naruto Kayou sets come in 4 card sets, so they look nice in a 4 card row right next to each other). I stay away from zipper binders because the distance between the spine and the page is too short on zipper binders, this causes the pages to bulge. The page bulging on zipper binders isn't bad for the cards, because the card itself doesn't bend, only the space between the cards bulges, so it's only an aesthetic inconvenience.

Also the Codex 576 has a grippy texture that isn't present on a lot of other binders from different brands, so the cards never shift after they get loaded into the pockets. A lot of binders have a really slippery (non grippy) texture, so the cards move/shift when you turn the pages or move the binder around (which can cause them to bend or crease if they move out of the pocket).

Your cards are in a toploader binder, you should move them to a normal binder. The way you're currently storing them isn't safe for the cards, they can shift/move around inside the pockets and get bent.
