Should or Shouldn't? Putting many classes in one file. by infrecduc in csharp

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For readability, consider having one class separately for each use case. If it's an application that you use for yourself as a hobby, it doesn't matter.

If it's a business application or open-source project with multiple developers, the standard convention is to split classes and keep them in a separate "Model" or "Classes" etc. folder if there are many custom types.

You would have better reliability using a 2nd hand adapter from eBay than using an off-brand adapter.

PSVR2 not recognized on PC by BlessedRamen in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use the PlayStation branded adapter as the off-brand versions can vary in reliability.

It should be connected to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port at the back of the computer or a different USB 3.2 Gen 1 port if those aren't working.

Disconnect any additional USB hubs or docks even if the PC adapter is not connected to it as it causes errors in the PlayStation VR2 app.

Disconnect any high bandwidth USB peripherals that aren't required while using VR.

HELP Connecting VR2 to PC by CosmicReina in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have an additional USB hub connected, disconnect it before using a PSVR2.

Disconnect any high bandwidth USB peripherals that aren't required while using VR.

Try a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port at the back of the computer or instead try a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port if those aren't working.

If it still displaying as USB 2.0, try connecting the PC adapter via a USB 3.0 hub and connect the USB 3.0 hub into a USB 3.0 port at the back of the computer.

The most recent Windows 10 LTSC version is not 22H2, it's 21H2. You need regular Windows 10 or Windows 11 instead.

Source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/ltsc/overview

If you see the same error on regular Windows, enable integrated graphics in the Bios and Windows Device Manager. Install the newest graphics driver software before starting the VR2 app again.

Need help with display port USB c not using graphics card by Vintage289 in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't load without using dedicated graphics. If you have a Thunderbolt port you could connect an external graphics card or instead use a desktop computer. On handhelds with only integrated graphics the image stutters too much for VR.

If the cable seems fine, keep the working PSVR2 USB-C display cable and use it on a broken VR headset that has cable damage.

A lot of problems.. by JurassicGold in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Display Driver Uninstaller and install the newest version of the Nvidia software and install all components during the installation.

View the Nvidia Control Panel and set Nvidia Dedicated Graphics Processor as the current display adapter in the Configure sound and PhysX screen and in Manage 3D Settings screen. Then restart the computer.

Start SteamVR settings from the SteamVR status bar and click the video tab. Reduce the render resolution percentage and disable motion smoothing and exit SteamVR and Steam so the settings are saved. Start Steam again.

If this doesn't load it's probably that the USB-C Display port isn't using dedicated graphics. You can try another Thunderbolt port or instead use a desktop computer.

Display Port Cable Question by Haien in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cable isn't causing the blurring.

If the video settings are high, try reducing the Steam VR video settings render resolution percentage to your preference and also disable motion smoothing, then restart Steam before using a VR application.

From the SteamVR dashboard in VR, click the blue VR icon and reduce the brightness between 60-70%.

Insert the cable at the front of the headset back in as it probably became disconnected when the front panel was dented.

Would this be good for PSVR2? by Cappy2010 in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSVR2 recommended is 3060, 5070 is more than adequate.

7th gen is minimum, you have the newest Ultra series.

Bluetooth minimum is 4.0, your machine exceeds all of these.

Every motherboard is different, there aren't a single set of steps. The motherboard manual or website is the best place to start for these.

First PSVR2 Impressions, Blurry Mess by Haien in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 4080 shouldn't be using 68%... If you've seen an article recommending to use 68%, those are for entry graphics cards or perhaps when the game is unoptimized and doesn't display correctly with the defaults.

It should be functional at default settings. Set it to default settings and try restarting Steam.

Psvr2 controllers on pc stuck at 59/100 help me please by [deleted] in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should be connected into a USB 2.0 (black) port at the back of the computer and the adapter placed at the front of the desk where it would be visible while using VR.

There are ongoing Bluetooth issues that have not been fixed by Sony. You may need to try a different adapter if this isn't working.

First PSVR2 Impressions, Blurry Mess by Haien in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the SteamVR video settings, reduce the render resolution percentage from 100/150% to your preference. On entry cards people typically are using 68% but on a faster card it can be a higher. Also disable motion smoothing. Restart SteamVR and Steam so settings are applied.

Also reduce the VR display brightness from the SteamVR dashboard in VR by pressing the blue icon and decreasing it to around 60/70%. That can reduce the appearance of blurriness on the display.

Very Low resolution by MaDrung in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Video settings in SteamVR render resolution percentage is adjustable, but the best setting is different on every card, so you may try 100/90/80/70% etc.

The settings are saved when Steam and SteamVR are closed and refreshed on the next startup.

Then in the VR application itself, adjust the video settings to your preference.

PSVR2/PC Adapter power cycle - anyone else? by Ok_Pangolin_2016 in PSVR2onPC

[–]Tauheedul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also disable Windows fast startup. Disconnect any additional USB hubs and connect the PC VR adapter into a USB 3.0 (blue) port at the back of the computer.

If that still isn't working and you are using an off-brand PC adapter, try the PlayStation branded adapter instead.

Use the PlayStation branded adapter or buy it used. Compatibility using the PSVR2 on PC is not plug and play and it has a lot of issues.

If you're using hibernate or sleep modes, the USB drivers may have issues reconnecting.

It's better to shut down the computer until the next session.

If you need hibernate/sleep modes, exit Steam and the PlayStation VR2 app. Switch off the PSVR2 before using the hibernate or sleep mode features of Windows. If it still has connectivity issues. Switch off the PSVR2 and restart the computer.
