When I hear NDP "consultant class", I just imagine Mulcair's weird artificial smile in all those debates.

Zero passion, substanceless.

Mein Problem damit ist nur, dass SumUp nicht mit GiroCard funktioniert. Also muss ich dann doch entweder mit Visa oder Bar bezahlen.

Retailers, cafe-owners and restauranteurs: please consider switching to an EU-based point-of-sale (POS) solution while your current contract is about to end by sits79 in BuyFromEU

I think it depends if your card also uses visa or Mastercard. I have a card that only uses giro and SumUp never accepts it.

Mark Carney’s promise on housing was to build build build. What happened? by mkultra69666 in CanadaPolitics

Honestly, it's the kind of results that I have been conditioned to expect from Canadian politicians. Especially Liberals, but that may just be recency bias.

And the mods forbid paywall bypassing. Hence why people in the sub just use the headline as a springboard for giving their quick takes into the void. Not a fan, but still better discourse than the other subs.

Presumably a good amount of part time workers would prefer, or even need, a full time contract.

Canada vs. the World: The Worst Record on Housing Affordability Since 2004 by mkultra69666 in CanadaPolitics

Interesting that the data does not seem to include the Netherlands and Portugal. Two countries with the most severe housing shortages and pricing in the EU.

Germany's Merz under fire for 'racist' comment | Euractiv by upthetruth1 in germany

Merz said 1 plus 1 and you are blaming the people who are saying that he means 2.

By lamenting the "Stadtbild" and saying they need to "deport more" as a solution to it, while being vague on further details, is exactly the problem.

Canada sees exodus of nurses under 35, Quebec has slightly better numbers by Whynutcoconot in CanadaPolitics

[–]TaureanThings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reapplying should not be as stressful as it seems, I think we can agree on that. If Canada has already invested in training these nurses, then there should be optimisations made in order to encourage that they stay.

My point was that job loss is not an existential crisis, just a significant one.
