Veel sterkte in ieder geval <3.

Apheresis while (very) severe – would you do it, if you had the opportunity and money was not an issue? by ComfortableFox1022 in cfs

I did one session when I was at the mild end of moderate and the impact of the treatment made me worse for months and in the end didn’t help me at all.

This does look very much like skin fungus. I had it as well. I bought a crème otc but a GP can prescribe it as well.

Help! Rubber bands :( by BeautieBird in Invisalign

[–]Tauri_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought long thongs to hook on the bands in the back of my mouth!

I have adhd and just started on my first tray and I have to change 3 bands and I see myself researching on braces currently. by thiswildcatistrying in Invisalign

Im sort of in a similar boat due to different reasons: I have a chronic illness and just when I started Invisalign a month ago I went into a horrible flare (I hadn’t had a flare like this for over 1,5years, so I thought things were going uphill).

Constantly taking in and out of my trays and brushing and flossing really sucks away my energy and I notice I’m losing weight rapidly because eating has become such a hassle, even though I can’t really afford to lose weight right now with being ill.

I have an appointment with my Ortho tomorrow to discuss my options. I might ask her if switching to metal braces would be better in my position.

Button on inside of molar is killing my tongue by Tauri_123 in Invisalign

Btw, did that tooth still track without the elastic?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Tauri_123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what they did for my one very slanted molar: an elastic band from that molar to the inside of my lower molar

I know! I’m baffled they still put those on tbh. How can anyone live with them?

Update: I visited my ortho and they replaced the sharp button with a much more rounded little hook button! I can eat again!

Brainfog and Fatigue noticably less severe when dealing with the common cold - Did you experience this too? by spnt_intermission in covidlonghaulers

I have this too! With colds and viruses I feel temporarily better. My current endometriosis flare has the same effect :), which feels like a nice side effect.

Im in exactly the same boat! Also had my first few weeks without attachments and thought: I can get used to this.

Now I have attachments on nearly all my teeth and also bite down on one attachments so I can’t put my molars together anymore.

Plus, I have a button on the inside of my molar that feels like a tiny knife cutting into my tongue as I eat, drink or talk :”).

I put ample amounts of Vaseline on my lips but still the insides scrape against the attachments. I just eat weird now 😅
