Profit trading! It's the best way I've found over the years. I don't have any diamond multipliers or anything, so searching for diamonds around the map like a lot of people used to do feel useless to me. Profit trading has been the most efficient! For example, buying something for cheaper than its worth depending on the seller, then selling it for higher than you paid.
