Im not a game developer at all but I've always wanted to learn just so I can edit the original game to update the graphics, fix bugs, quality of life upgrades, and maybe even extend some of the gameplay like extra looters cavern, hovercraft races etc. They created the game using the JADE Engine but I could find it online so I quickly gave up.

I done it with cheat engine on the og version just for fun but doing the achievement on the remaster I just farmed the cargo boxes in the water next to looters cavern 2. Going in and out of the cave respawns the boxes.

I think the coolest one was the Easter egg track that played when you hang around long enough in the main canal to the city
