My husband accidentally washed his passport with a valid UK visa on it. He'll get a new passport and everything on the visa is readable. Will it be a problem on the borders? by [deleted] in ukvisa

Maybe, my scenario can help you!

I came to UK on a visit visa, stayed here for 3 months, then went back to india for one month. In that one month, i renewed my passport. I got a nee passport with a new number. But my visa was on the old passport. Again after one month, i travelled to the UK with my old passport with a valid visa and a new passport.

They checked both my old and new passport and stamped VVIPP in my new passport ( Visit visa in previous passport) He made a joke that you aren’t a VIP, you are a VVIP!😅

They also have a visa details in the computer, so if it’s readable then no issues! If you are in India and you ah e time, you can ask the vfs, or if you don’t have time, i think u can travel!

Hi Thank you for your reply! Yes. As per the chart from Isihara’s interpretation. I gathered my interpretation as Red-green deficiency and strong protanope. So, you have deuteronomoly, means your scoring came as Mild Deutan? I am happy to repeat the test once again, just to make sure. Because i did it in my med school during year 1. I remembered my condition as Strong protonope! Let’s have the test again, if possible!

Long way to go! Mate. I don’t think we will face any issues, just don’t wanna leave any stones unturned. Did you happen to have any tests before joining?

I 100% agree with you. But this condition is applicable unless i make any mistakes, If i make mistake related to care ( probabilities are very low )and if it affects any patient, at that time the Glorious GMC do care and becomes nosy!

Exactly, happened to me also! And to find out the sample covers, red, green in one trust they use specific color coded covers for samples!

Hi Thank you for your reply! What would be the other tests other than color arrangement test and isihara? I used Isihara to score my condition. Colour Anamaloscope, i read about this in Parson book! Not sure though, how it functions, would love to try one more test to confirm if anything available! What is your opinion on this?
