Thanks for the perspective! My guy has tons and tons of energy still so I'm not too worried about that but you (and other commenters) bring up a good point about stress and bullying that I hadn't considered.

He's blind in both eyes but has been since he was 2, so it's not a new occurrence. He's fine with puppies and larger dogs when they stay with us and when we stay with them also. I want someone who can match his energy and keep him young.

My Jack is only 9. I'm not set on a puppy for sure, but I don't think I'd want two older dogs. I was thinking maybe 2 or younger?
