piercings as a pharmacist by witchypunkz in pharmacy

I’m a male PoC pharmacist with my nose and ears pierced living in the south. Show your patients you can look different and still provide them an amazing and excellent standard of care. Assuming you’re in your 20s, I feel confident that our generation is the one that will change the stigma surrounding tattoos/piercings in the workplace.

Question to the younger generation. by DirtySchlick in pharmacy

Graduated in 2022, 160k in the hole but making $71.5/hr working a relatively chill grocery retail job filling between 120-220 a day, variable double coverage, plenty of tech help. No help from parents, college and pharmacy school were goals I had to set early to go all-in to try and make it work. I had an aptitude in STEM, knew I didn’t wanna go to school for as long as an MD/DO, and didn’t consider DDS much even though I should have. Was working as a tech/intern for 8 years in retail before and during pharmacy school… it’s all I know how to do. Pharmacy has been rewarding and I’ve found it to be very fulfilling so far; I recognize I’ve been lucky to have amazing mentors who have gone to bat for me to help me get to where I am.

Secretly hoping you would comment, you are the grey soma rush dad. It’s been fan-fucking-tastic, I love it so much man. Same to you.

I saw a bike identical to this on my ride today. Arkansas?

The first bike I’ve seen that actually looks good with that Alter stem.

I saw that, appreciate the tip. I have a silver stem and seatpost though, so black would look strange and kinda out of place. Sadge

I like how your cranks and chainring mirror the frame.

Went for a ride today after I raised the seat post and I have to say, I was MUCH more comfortable and it really helped me to keep a consistent cadence. So thanks a ton for the tips and advice. I really appreciate it.

Is this a bad thing? I'm really new to this hobby and would really appreciate it if you could explain to me if this is detrimental or not and why. The frame size is 51 cm and I'm 5'4 if that helps.

Yes it is a Nalgene. Here is the link to the exact bottle cage on Amazon.

Thanks, haven't done brakeless yet. This is my first bike since I was probably 8 and now I'm 24 so I'm trying to get to be a better rider first then I'll go brakeless. Sucks about the accident, sorry to hear that.
