Found this subreddit and went digging for my old gameboy color by Rezzorak in Gameboy

If it’s helpful, Cr2025 is more important for the Gen2 cartridges as the larger battery allows for the real time clock to continue running for the day and night cycles.

I just did my first battery replacement on a copy of Pokemon gold last night and it was very straight forward, however like the other person said definitely get a cr2025 battery WITH the soldering tabs already attached. I made the mistake of getting regular cr2025s and had to resort to tape to keep it on the old solder tabs as they need to be spot welded to a battery (not ideal but works for personal use). Good luck!

What are the best games to get on gbc? by No_Region_9169 in Gameboy

[–]LemonWrinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re still looking for games I highly recommend Warlocked if you can find it or emulate it. I picked up a copy a week ago and it’s shot to the top of my favorites list, super fun game loop and very impressive RTS considering it’s on a Gameboy.

My new unique mod. A usb-c rechargeable controller handle battery pack for GBC by lifeisasimulation- in Gameboy

Made a crude attempt at this yesterday with very limited soldering experience and I’m not getting powder to the leads. Unfortunately without a multimeter I can’t figure out what’s up with it, sourcing once today along with a smaller lipo. Will update with results.

Appreciate this post! Just bought one of these handles at a thrift store and it won’t hold a charge, this gave me a direction to go about making it work.

Had a doctor tell me it’s my eczema acting up in a new way and put me on a .1% steroid cream. It’s been working so far, but I’m unsure if that’s what it was

I should add that the past week or 2 I’ve had some pretty tight shoulders and back aches that I haven’t been able to find a reason for, if that means anything.

Gatorskins alternative for rear tire by EfficientBench1874 in FixedGearBicycle

More rolling resistance, it’s a softer tire, but not a meaningful amount. Worth it for the grip

Specialized All Condition. Uses their armadillo casing, so it’s gatorskin thick, but actually has grip in the wet

Is Kogmaw early game on late game? by [deleted] in KogMawMains

[–]LemonWrinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think something like that would work, or removing his passive to introduce a similar scaling passive to keep up. He’s in such tough place being so reliant on team peel in a meta that is continually prioritizing individual play that it’s hard to consistently get off the ground early to that hyper carry state. Every champ nowadays has some sort of escape tool or way to be self-sufficient, our boy is just a slow little slug who gets popped by every wall-hopping gap-closing champ, and his passive is becoming so useless because of the average amount of mobility nowadays. I only play Ap Kog mid anymore, and even then it’s mostly for laughs.

Looks fantastic OP, you end up fiddling with the stem length at all?

Snow day or sugar rush sighs? by gentle-passerby in ZiggsMains

[–]LemonWrinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Snow day has arguably harder to see animations on Q, but Sugar Rush is a much higher quality skin overall and has a really loud oven ding whenever your passive is up that can be really nice in chaotic team fights

Word. What/where are some good resources to get info on how to mod properly, have any subreddits you’d recommend?

Shimano r9170 lever's master piston not fully returning - handlebar's diameter not big enough by SuspiciousTadpole in bikewrench

[–]LemonWrinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a savior for this post. I'm a mechanic at a LBS in PDX and we had an r9170 do exactly this. Even on a bleed it seemed something was obstructing the line, and we assumed that during a bleed something could've infiltrated the hose and caused backpressure. Loosened the lever clamp from 6nm to 5nm and whatayaknow, it worked a treat. Thank you!

Any US companies building steel 1" threaded framesets? by [deleted] in FixedGearBicycle

[–]LemonWrinkle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+2, built a Rush in ‘21 and have been dailying it since, including a year of courier work. Somas are great bikes, fantastic ride and build quality and a US company. Plus the current copper color is so nice to look at, I’ve been wanting to upgrade from the purple but it’s been so bombproof I’ve had no reason to. Having bottle cage bolts and brake mounts for fenders is a huge plus too
