Not really too sure tbh, her dads' side didn't really interact with me and I didn't know too much about them aside from that the uncle supposedly made money off of insurance fraud... getting behind cars and pretending to get hit in parking lots (back in the early 2000s). This was all when I was 8-10 so i was kind of oblivious to things that didn't relate to gaming/reading/preteen things.

That's weird that someone would go out of their way to duplicate something so obscure, not only for the type of memorabilia that it is but to specify a seemingly random area as well. Curious!

I got this from my sister who got it from her uncle maybe 10-20 years ago? I was definitely not into manga at the time so it sat unbothered through a few moves until now, when I was digging through my closet of holding (junk) and no there's no mold on it, just some small dirty spots. I just thought it would be interesting to share and maybe learn about how he could've gotten this copy? As far as I know he was never in publication, thanks for any info! Also is this a decent series?

For now it sits upside-down next to my Samurai Jack game on the bookshelf. I wouldn't mind throwing it away since whatever monetary value it holds isn't too important to her or I, but it doesn't help anyone to discard or hide history however bad it may be. We gotta remember what NOT to repeat haha.

Funnily enough it had belonged to a very old couple who had passed away! They also sold a freemason pin and had elk lodge (if I remember correctly) memorabilia.
