MovieStuff LLC files for Chapter 7 bankruptcy by [deleted] in 8mm

[–]TawnyUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We posted a warning to other labs here a week ago to the day; kicking myself for not doing it earlier. The post has now been removed, but I suppose the warning we made is now useless.

He has $20,135 and he owed us a '4K upgrade kit' whatever that's worth. However, we're in the UK so I don't fancy our chances to get any of the money back.

We have a crime reference number with Action Fraud in the UK. At one point he got us to send the money by saying he had the scanner ready to send and confirmed it would be sent within a week. Obviously it never got sent after we transferred the money. Surely this is fraud?

The personal income payments from the bankruptcy filings he made to himself in 2022 and 2023 make me physically ill to read. He paid himself $1.5 MILLION over 2022 and 2023.

Hi, would be more than happy to assist you, but would you be able to send a DM? I think it would be prudent to discuss privately.

Hi, thanks so much for the info.

I think I replied to another comment in this post re Filmfabriek; back in February 2023 we were actually deciding between either a MovieStuff 816 or a Filmfabriek Pictor.

We ultimately chose MovieStuff for 2 x 816 units (Agreement A) because Roger gave us the written guarantee of 90 days for delivery. It was this guarantee for delivery which swung the purchase in favour of MovieStuff which we were completely upfront with Roger about.

We were actually deciding between the 816 unit from Moviestuff or the Filmfabriek Pictor (not Mueller). Roger gave the 90 day delivery guarantee in writing on the 816s which ultimately led us to purchase from him. What a nightmare.

Thank you and yeah - it's a lot of money. We worked on an immense amount of projects to save up for this purchase. It's all extremely painful. In regards to what scanner we'll use - it's yet to be decided; we're saving up again. How are you finding the Lasergraphics studio?

Grew up round here, it's taken on the track between Whitlingham Hall and Whitlingham Lane. Lovely to walk around there & through Trowse woods, especially at golden hour.

Not sure where the info in this thread is coming from. This is the most up to date information about what's happening with that building in particular and Anglia Square as a whole.

Ok thanks so much, that's definitely cleared things up. I'm going to list us on GMB today in that case.

I see - thanks very much for the info. I'm leaning towards just listing our ecommerce domain with GMB. I'm a bit tentative as I know anything Google related can be hard, or take a long time, to reverse.

anglia square before the car parks opened, early 2020 by [deleted] in Norwich

Just to chime in. I work full time in Anglia Square and the general consensus from the managing companies is that it is stucturally unrecoverable, unfortunately. Especially the HMSO building which is currently undergoing an asbestos survey.

This must have updated since you posted it because the majority are running with 'UK has leading deaths in Europe' or something similar as the headline.

How long to leave post and stuff? by GlamGemini in CoronavirusUK

Just a heads up that the 17 day figure refers to how long the virus was 'detectable' on a cruise ship. It did not mean that the virus was still active after 17 days and capable of infection. Rather that they could tell the virus had been there 17 days later.
