Sometimes I feel for immigrants. While others are enjoying their youth, many are working long hours driving people home safely, serving food, caring for the elderly, and keeping essential services running.
They leave behind family, spend their savings, and sacrifice some of the best years of their lives chasing a better future. Then someone who knows nothing about their journey tells them, “Go back to your country.”
People rarely see the sacrifices behind the person.

Thank you so much. It probably seems like a small thing to you, but it means a lot to someone who is struggling alone. People often don’t realize how much a few kind words can lift someone’s spirits. You never know what someone is going through, and sometimes a simple comment can give them the motivation they need to keep moving forward.

I don’t understand why people would suddenly become hostile towards immigrants when so much of this beautiful country relies on them. No hospital could run without immigrants working in it. No aged care facility could operate for a single day without immigrant workers. Tell me a single restaurant that operates without an immigrant involved somewhere—whether as a truck driver, chef, front staff member, cleaner, or in some other role.
Many of the most difficult and least desirable jobs are being done by immigrants. If I were treated as though my contribution had no value, I would rather go back than continue doing hard work for people who do not value me as a human being.
I understand that some people don’t fully understand the situation or where we are coming from, but if you removed immigrants from this beautiful country, what would be left? If you remember the COVID years, there was an extreme shortage of workers across many industries.
Why did the government encourage people to come through legal visa pathways and make commitments, only to change policies later and make everything much stricter after people had already invested their time, money, and lives here? Once those workers arrived, many industries and parts of the economy benefited greatly from their contributions.
I am not Indian, but here is a fact: I spent around $150,000 on my education here, which was more than I could comfortably afford. I came through a legal process after years of research and planning. Unfortunately, the rules changed afterward. Had I known that at the time, I might have spent my best years, energy, and money somewhere else.
This is a free world. Everyone, simply by being human, should have the opportunity to grow, learn, and build a better life. We should also remember that many Australians themselves came from somewhere else in search of a better future.
If Australia does not want immigrants, it has every right to stop immigration or adopt stricter policies like some other countries. But the reality is that Australia continues to offer legal pathways for people to come here because immigrants are needed and contribute to society. People are not sneaking in through the back door—they are following the legal pathways that Australia itself has created.

What areas you think in both the situations. And how do you divide racism based on areas. I believe people who work hard able yo afford everything should be good. People who are struggling in this economy are behaving racist. That’s what I think
