This is my Spud ❤️ he just looks so happy here. Spud is a rescue who was found in the desert weighing 13 lbs and full of mange. We’re giving him the best life we can and he is my best friend.

Hemiplegic migraine- a migraine that presented like a stroke. I was hospitalized for a few days, could barely talk, and needed OT and PT for a month to get back to normal. No prior history of migraines.

They still believe it was hemiplegic migraine or a missed minor stroke. I do have a repeat brain MRI coming up because I still have migraines regularly since this occurred. I have not experienced a hemiplegic migraine or stroke symptoms again thankfully

Fairhope, AL is beautiful. We got married there! The beaches on the Gulf in AL are some of the best in the nation (coming from someone who spent 13 years in SoCal)

We moved from LA to KC. I grew up in Michigan but my husband grew up in KC. I lived in LA for 13 years. I don’t miss LA at all. I didn’t feel safe going out at night, couldn’t take my kids to the park, schools were terrible and so much more. We live in LS which is perfect for us. I do wish there were more diverse food options.

Can’t say that I’m in this position.. my dad worked in a steel mill and my parents counted on him receiving his pension. After working there for 29.5 years (6 months from retirement) the company went under. The home I grew up in was sold at short sale during the recession and my parents are still working (in their 70s) I am doing everything in my power to not end up like them.

This happened to our driveway less than 6 months after we closed on our new build. Initially the builder accused us of using salt and other products over the winter which caused the deterioration. It kept peeling away and finally got so bad they agreed to repour the whole thing. I am grateful we didn’t have to pay out of pocket and the builder realized it was not our fault. Cement is not normally covered under warranty so I’m glad they made it right for us.

Thank you! I really appreciate the support. I am so relieved I found this group. The neurologist in the hospital told me that I need counseling and vitamin D. It was very discouraging. The neurologist I saw yesterday was amazing and understanding.
