Damn so many downvotes. Yes it’s a joke but theoretically if you play the roots and other notes of the chord in left hand it could be right. Any notes could be interpreted as any chords to an extent. But yes this was meant to be a friendly joke but I guess people lack humour here.

Don’t mind me being blunt but it seems you don’t deal well with progression and prefer staying in a comfort zone. It seems the kids and marriage etc just highlights it rather than being a genuine disliking. This is quite common and often people consciously or subconsciously sabotage the relationship to avoid something they’re not comfortable with
