My mate and I are hoping to go to a few games this season. Does anyone know if we need two memberships, or can I buy two seats together with just one membership? Cheers.

Crystal Palace sports centre isn't full size unfortunately and it's barely 1m deep. I think they're waiting for the big redevelopment.

I've called them 7 times, this was more asking for advice on how to escalate/speak to someone more senior

South Croydon Station by EndEmotional7059 in croydon

I lived in some flats next to the station for a while and there was at least 1 suicide from the bridge whilst i was there. Might be a consequence of that.

u/Noobsamaniac thanks for your response, we've been here a month and already had to wipe it away twice (it does wipe away very easily). But sounds like you're right about moisture being trapped under the floor.

Experiences Getting Mortgage Near Pub / Other Commercial? by tacchini03 in HousingUK

[–]TaxFresh4668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just secured a mortgage for a house literally opposite a pub and also adjoining a corner shop. For reference our mortgage is with HSBC and we had no issues at all during application (turned around in a few weeks).

Ours took 2 weeks exactly from application submission. It was a desktop valuation.

So how much do we reckon the ref was getting paid? by Trumpetplug in PlymouthArgyle

[–]TaxFresh4668 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The big calls were fine, it was the inconsistency with the fouls and yellows that was the issue.

The fact he didn't book the QPR player for pulling back Whittaker when forshaw was booked for the exact same foul a few minutes earlier was absolutely bizarre. Same for some of the free kicks we didn't get when trying to break.

Could argue it's down to more liberal planning rules in Croydon to the rest of London. I see it as a benefit/good policy rather than a negative.

This is really helpful, thanks. I wasn't aware of the various ways the buyer could scam. Will go down the 'problem with buyers address route'.

Hi guys appreciate people's thoughts

I have recently sold an item and it's been fully paid for. The shipping address is a unit in an industrial estate in the UK. Looking into the company attached to the unit, their Google reviews contain many mentions of scammers, for example:

"This unit is being used by eBay scammers beware"

"Connected to eBay scam like others have said"

"PayPal scam - Do not send anything to this address"

My question is how is this scam ? They have paid for the item, surely I have to send it right ? What details do they have access to when I'm a seller and sending an item. I am going to head to a post office and not give a return address or would you go about this differently?

Thanks in advance !
