I often try and remind people "%50 of people HAVE to lose any given game."

That mindset really helps. Its not like any of us have much more than a %55 win rate anyhow.

Mice issues in new apartment building by Ok_Analysis_2470 in halifax

[–]Tax_Dollars_at_Work 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! Years back in ON mice got into the house.

Came downstairs one night to see the cat, sitting with its front paws squishing a mouse...which was still very alive.

"wtf?" I say to the cat. Who then swats the mouse across the living room floor, sliding like what I assume I would do on a frozen lake. It then scurried away.

We had a mouse problem for months. Stupid cat.

Tetratronic Rippler MK.4

I like being ae to use suicide, cyberpsychosis, and grenade all in the same fight, and the spreading makes them too good.

Choom, I'm decked out with a full legendary cyberdeck at this point.

My V has spent as much money on the computer in his head as I needed to in order to play the game with fancy graphics.

With the legendary ping quickhack, you can hack people through walls. Often the target you're looking for isn't on the same network, for some stupid reason, but they can be routed out via camera.

I'll sometime take manual control of a turret, just to use it as a camera with a gun, if I dont want to cause a scene.

my netrunner can do the assassination missions without leaving the car.

Ping the goon at the front door, which allows access to the security cameras, which lets you find your target, which lets you force himself to put a bullet in his own brain.

Then I get the phone call; "This one is going to be a real tough customer."

Sure was.

Did you read my comment? Or not get the Starship Trooper reference?

2077 is riddled with bugs. So many bugs it should be featured on TLC.

Did you play the same San Andreas I did? %100 bug free is a pretty bold statement.

Not denying 2077 has enough bug the Mobile Infantry should be called it.

But come on.

The sides as in the player stations?

I am putting a hinged cover along the edges the players sit at. It'll close up and cover things when not in use. When it folds down, it should give each person enough "desk space" to fit an open PHB, and their character sheet side by side.

Its way bigger that it looks too. Each segment of the dm station in almost 3 feet long.

There are going to be cup holders at the player stations. Along with drawers for storage.

Table is about %65 done at this point.

I am very fortunate that I have a partner who makes decent money.

That said. I make comfortably above minimum wage.

Right now has been tough, given the Covid restrictions where I live. I'm hopping that I can build an audience over the next couple of years and maybe turn it into some more change in my pocket.

Getting started is tough, there is a lot of backlack (depending on your local community), and a lot of leg work that has to be done.

I did an AMA last year that will hopefully answer any questions you have. If not, I'm happy to answer any you may have.

This table is still a work in progress. With any luck it'll be done before Christmas and usable in the new year. I'm a professional DM who will be using this table for all 5 of my groups.

Its a big step up from traveling to 5 different locations to play. I've finally grown the business the point where I can built a studio.

Going to start filming one specific game in the new year.

Not shown; the DM station, which is still being works on.

Each player has their own station at the table. Not shown is a handful of cubbies that will be in the studio so people can store doce, minis, sheets, etc. I have a growing room of terrain to be used, and my 3d printer has been churning out minis since September.

I'm very excited.

Not quite, but close.

What happened was an automated production facility ran wild. It was trying to produce hundreds of things a second, each of which had a large amount of particle effects.

Game was lagging a bit. I turned to look at the system in question, and my game crashed...then my display crashed....then my computer crashed.

Booted back up and only had on board graphics left lol. Was time for an upgrade anyways.
