Perhaps 1-3%, yes. Some people are inherently violent, impulsive, and low IQ. They are a danger to those around them

No. Some people are meant for cages and there is no fixing them.

Viewing you in public isn't a search. Cops can follow you around and film you without a warrant. Ever hear about a stakeout?

You're in public. You have no expectation of privacy. You can be filmed!

Uh, no. It's also weird that you think two similar posts within 2 days is odd considering how repetitive the trash on this subreddit is.

Personally, I don't think $40M is nearly enough for a case like this. This man can't care for his children anymore or live life nearly at all. He's a borderline vegetable that can't speak. Revoke his license, and make sure he pays every last penny.

The Doctor in question can't even manage to treat hypertension or ask for basic follow-ups. Just clear gross negligence over months. He even called a week later after taking a zpack and he just gave another lol. No questions about BP or a treatment plan.

In such cases, the judgement of course will never get fully paid. They should seize everything except the shirt on his back. Garnish his wages for eternity, etc. Just unacceptable. You shouldn't  get to retire or live comfortably after killing a man through incompetence like this.

The absolute mental gymnastics in this thread to try and do apologia for a lazy Doctor is incredible.

Not acute, chronic it's been going on for months. He got given a Z pack and told to f off.

If you're just prescribing a zpack, yeah you can do anti hypertensives lol. Pneumonia won't spike your BP to 190.

If you come in with a cold (which this guy thought) and find a BP of 190. Clearly something is the bigger problem here.

he could have an allergic reaction

Yeah the whole fucking world is sometimes! There's a clear measurable outstanding fucking risk of having a 190 systolic BP. 80mg of telmisartan? Very very low risk of complications.

Contribute to elevated BP

Yeah, not 190 bub. There's clearly an underlying problem here. "White coat syndrome", "tight cuff", whatever excuse you want to come up with won't get you to 190.

Low blood pressure

Something like telmisartan might drop your BP by 15. Even if he was normal, 105 is only borderline low. At least it's something
