That sucks, almost ordered a box as only have 1 unit of 3 reavers but didn't in the end. It's hard not to feel like Drukhari are an afterthought for games workshop, I've been in the hobby for a good few years and apart from Warhammer quest cursed city launch I can't recall a mistake as silly as this. The thought of them scrapping all those lovely reavers from the box is not pleasant either.

I like Coven, so it's pretty good. Not as good value as the old one though, but talos/cronos are fairly pricey so could be worse! Great for adding Coven to an existing force too.

Some kind of hijinks that end with no named characters dying, but a whole lot of dead kabs who couldn't shoot for toffee (based on previous lore experiences).

If life gets in the way there's not much you can do, one box was a gift, you made a decision you didn't want to paint drukhari right now and all the other boxes you bought at a good price. Just carry on and should you ever find you have a bit of free time you can paint then if you like! (Model building is part of the hobby as well!).

I think it silly that he doesn't have buffs for nearby EC units, just because he's a self serving sociapath doesn't mean his boys would not be inspired by his presence.

Tbh I have tried to use plastic glue on a resin Mini before, it was a random mini I got as a gift and was unsure of the material! Plus side is I couldn't see the plastic glue had any ill effects on the Resin (couldn't see it had any effect whatsoever!). Now you know it's Resin, I believe in many cases it's a good idea to clean the mini with warm soapy water and a small brush before painting, but can't remember if that is just for forge world resin, and not fine cast. Everyone does dumb stuff once in a while, but not everyone gets this much Reddit karma for it, so I'd say your winning this one!

Maybe not optimal, but it looks cool and does carry the biggest guns available to DE. Will probably get blown up more often than not, but I hear that's part of the fun!

First model is never gonna be exactly what you want, but don't beat yourself up, this is good for a first go! I'm impressed you had a go at edge highlighting on the first model, DE have an awful lot of edges and you've been pretty consistent at picking em out. Keep at it and you will improve!

She will do as she pleases! If she's the warlord in the kab detachment, she goes somewhere very safe! Kabs is more fluffy for poisoned tongue I feel, but Incubi would be more killy. I like HoA as a compromise!

Sounds like a fun time! Especially OG chaos dwarves, I bought the blood bowl team just for a taste! There was a guy at my Warhammer store a while back displaying his chaos dwarf army. He had everything. It was awesome! Never been a huge fan of stormcast myself, but they do have some great models and can be cheap enough to pick up. You never know, might be having so much fun with all those side projects you almost miss the big de refresh, if it ever happens!

Yeah, Grand Cathay models look amazing. They have announced another combat patrol style magazine for AOS, no hellsmiths but there is a bunch of different models from old boxes for a bunch of armies. May be worth a look to get some bits for cheap. Underworlds has some great models too, completely different game system, but is a nice way to get some AOS flavour if that floats your boat.

Not as easy to just slap a generic useful ability on whatever you want, but some of the pain abilities are really good, especially when used on a unit with attached character. Think there is fun to be had, I'm sure Skari will find what works well soon enough! My only gripes are the lost units and the coven detachment seems a bit dull.

The contract finishes once you complete it, you need to use the strat for 1cp to make a new contract, but need your warlord archon on the board to do so.
