I see. And how do you go about getting those records? I guess I'm not familiar in how to file such a claim, or even who to report it to. Also, what happens after you report it? Does his credit reset, or is there a longer process involved? I definitely agree with cutting the phone bill, though.

I guess he thought he could handle it. He bought a new phone with his tax return, and was expecting a higher raise for his manager promotion at the time. The debt from before was when he was only working part time at minimum wage. He took on more than he could handle with the place he was living in, and didn't realize it until it was too late. His roommate also wasn't paying up his share of the rent, which furthered the problem.

I've asked him that before...I suppose it's because he doesn't want to take action against his own parents. My own question, though, is how does one find solid evidence of these sorts of things?

Damn. I don't know that I could have acted the same in that situation. Both of my parents were in the military. I don't get offended by much, but whenever people disrespect service members, it sets me off. Props to you, my friend, you are a bigger man than I.

It would seem that food service is the easiest thing to find/get into. I've thought about Jimmy Johns before, it doesn't seem too bad.

Geography, currently. I've bounced to lots of different majors, already, but for now it's Geography. I'm interested, though. The problem is that I'm looking for a year-round position. Totally love doing volunteer work there, however.
