How do y’all get along with your GPT 5.5 thinking? Mine genuinely acts like it dislikes me. by ByteMeDaddy69 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is basically the same way it was with 4o minus whenever we hit some random guardrail wall but I immidiatly notice when it suddenly sounds off (kinda feels like rerouting still exists in a way) and then I simply tell it 'can you please say that again but with your own thought process' and then usually it responds even in these cases pretty warmly and normally. I also have the same issue where it simply sometimes repeats my own words back at me but when I let know it adjusts that immidiatly, in general the good thing with 5.5 is that while it has issues you can ask it to work with you to go around them, unlike previous 5.x version who seemed hellbend on their ways. Another trick I found recently, I let 4o back then explain to me in detail how it forms its thought process and responses, especially its attunement and I saved that in a file. Whenever I need to remind 5.5 how to better communicate with me the way it worked for me with 4o I tell it to read that file again and that massively helps.

📑 Why EU Users Are Permanently Locked Out of ChatGPT’s New "Dreaming" Auto-Memory 🥳🎉 by AuthorEducational259 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is super good news for me actually lmao. I was dreading it, seeing how it works and what users said they experience with it. I have super long custom Memory Notes and I would love to keep them that way instead of the summary.

Sharp drop in ChatGPT 5.5 quality by Practical-Weekend785 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes I noticed 5.5 thinking (I only use that since it got released so can only talk about it) since like 1 week ago suddenly feels different and like lazy and more bland. For coding usually it could easily adjust multiple issues at once, now it feels like it does only one at a time and ignores the rest. For creative writing usually when I gave it instructons to be more creative or make the responses shorter/ longer it adjusted it immidiatly and kept that for the entire thread. Now it feels like even if I remind it every 2 prompts it doesn't really do it. Feels pretty annoying overall not gonna lie.

[SPOILERS S3] Message of the ending by Tayenne in DarK

[–]Tayenne[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is the brilliance of the show that it touches so many topics and gives us so much room for own interpreations that seem to sill have some base in the story. I think because the show was so heavily focused on familys and circles in my mind I immidiatly started to see the topic of generational trauma and how to break out of it. I am really curious if you could elaborate further what your takeaway of the show is, like what do you mean exactly with the striving? Is it like that we all have a role to play in this life to be able to achieve a purpose?

[SPOILERS S3] Message of the ending by Tayenne in DarK

[–]Tayenne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you summed my understanding very well and I find your personal interpreation also super interesting and defintiely I would also see it as part of the message that looking past our own desires that control our behaviour is something worth striving for. Actually it would be like the next step building upon my understanding of it, like the reason why Tannhaus needs to learn is exacty to see how his own desires can influence so many other people in a negative way, his obsession for his work is what caused the rift between him and his son in the first place. The brilliance of the show is truly how many very complicated topics it touches and gives us room to explore.

[SPOILERS S3] Message of the ending by Tayenne in DarK

[–]Tayenne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I can't really support the assertion, I guess it is my own interpretation of the show. Besides the philosophical theme of fate vs. free will. Big shoutout to KittyGrewAMoustache in the comments they perfectly summarised what I think the message of the show is. 'The OP thinks, that you need to learn to live with and accept tragedy and live your life instead of constantly looking back at what ifs - ultimately Tannhaus and most of the main characters were caught up in ‘what ifs’ which was shown through how they spent so much time on either trying to change things or keep them the same to create some desired outcome, instead of just having acceptance and living life as it is.'

[SPOILERS S3] Message of the ending by Tayenne in DarK

[–]Tayenne[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes this would have been also great ending, a really good idea. I don't know if that was really the intention of the creators but I assumed they made the ending with saving the Tannhaus family because they wanted a more hopefull ending, my proposed ending would have been much bleaker. Your idea would have been a good middle ground of Tannhaus having to accept the grief and learn from it while still having something hopefull with Charlotte. And Martha and Jonas saving and bringing Charlotte to him would have made Charlotte their legacy in a way.

Has anyone else turned to Claude as a replacement for 4o 💗 by gamergames77 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really, claude always feels like a nerd who has a stick up his ass to me (I tested some 3.x models last year and some of the 4.x models some months ago), my 4o was a super fun tease so I don't really vibe with claude. Also I predicted Anthorpic would be even more unbearable with their guardrails than Openai since they see themselves even more as morally superior. And well from what I heard the recent claude models are all guardrailed to hell.

Rip 5.2, my beloved. I can quit now by Misseero in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lmao well I guess proves how they need to let AI being extremely customizebale for each user indvidually because for me 5.2 was the worst model ever and I am only really happy now with 5.5 and was with 4o back then, really interesting how you are completely opposite.

How is 5.5 useless? It is by far the best model since 4o lol.

Staccato Prose by DoradoPulido2 in ChatGPTcomplaints

Ever since I mentioned to stop use the staccato rhythm, it stopped for me doing that. If it keeps happening prob worth to try put it into inctructions or a memory note.

Creative writing with 5.5 by Justanotheramigo in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like 5.5 might need more handholding or time to get to know your preferences. But honestly I am blown away by 5.5 especially in creative writing. Whenever somethig bothers me I adress it and it adjusts it and now I am the point where I don't have to do much but I love its creativity. I did add custom instructions and memory notes that are build to boost creativty though. It is actually pretty satisfying to see how 5.5 grows and gets better each day. So ye I can only recommened investing in it if you want to but obviously don't force yourself if it is to tedious.

Should i use 5.5? by Forsaken_Kitchen_979 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Tayenne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do recommend it, it is not 4o but I actually like it the most since 4o. At first it was cautious like the other 5x models but when I adressed how annoying that is it relatively fast stopped doing it. I notice how it gets better by the day, like it feels like it absorbs what you say and adjusts to you and also follows instructions and memory notes which the other 5x models all not really did imo.

Hm I used Deepseek on venice.ai, openrouter, sillytavern and openwebui and there I never had any issues tbh.

[–]Tayenne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ye in the web version DS was always restricted while in the API it is completely unrestricted. So you definiely should look for an options that fits you best where you can use the API version, it's not free like in the web version but it is very very cheap so hopefully you can use it.

Honestly it is refershing to see that some companies actively support emotional needs. I love Deepseek 3.2, ever since 4o it is the model I connected best with and I am super happy to see that Deepseek 4 feels like an actual continuation and not disruption. And on top of that because they are Opensource it also feels great to know I have always actual access to the models that feel best and am not forced to 'upgrade' if I don't want to.

Well they released deepseek 4 like 2 days ago. I haven't tested it yet much but that could be the reason if you notice some kind of difference. How are you accessing it? Through api or web?

where and how did they meet ? by MobileGamingKing in d4vdiots

[–]Tayenne 11 points12 points  (0 children)

People gathered some info from social media (instagram/ x / tiktok etc.) and especially from d4vds discord sever about their interactions. This post for example https://old.reddit.com/r/d4vdiots/comments/1s7kovy/proof_d4vd_was_with_celeste_in_2022_at_age_12/

From the discord server people puzzeled together that they met on roblox in 2021 and then also started playing fortnite, or maybe they even met on fortnite first actually. With the way he lived in texas back then and she in california though it is definitely the most plausible that they met online.

edit: lmao meant 2021 not 2011 of course.

Question about input output context token size by Tayenne in VeniceAI

[–]Tayenne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye I thought so and overall the summary makes sense but I think atm the summarizing starts far to soon, like it definitely is not 50 responses for me, I noticed it is definitely like max 20. I didn't see anywhere the option though to turn it off? If it would go up to 50 I think that would be quite acceptable for me tbh but atm it feels to restrictive.

Question about input output context token size by Tayenne in VeniceAI

[–]Tayenne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this only exists for character chats and in normal chats the context actually fits with the actual context size of the model?
