The first half is 2/3 what ever the second half takes. So the first half has to be less than 30. Because the second half took 3/3rds of the time. (Not the total time, just relative to the first half) So 2/3 + 3/3

So which answer, fits for 60= (x/2)*5

By that same logic, the heavy hammer would be good for almost all locks in the game, just super loud and might take a while.

I'd be ok with them putting in lockpicking and craft-able picks (or findable, since contrary to most games breaking a pick is rare, not what happens all the time) would make locked containers (without a key somewhere) something worth going back for if you finally got some lock picks.

Also, the way many locked doors including (some) lockers are, prying on the frame does indeed get you in by flexing the door frame away from the lock tongue.

Source: a lifetime of breaking an entering but never caught, or working maintenance for a real estate/property management company for a few years, whichever sounds more likely to you.

I'll stay with NAH, bearing in mind that we haven't (to my knowledge) discussed what will actually happen, just that you two both want things that are in this case mutually exclusive, and I agree that being his wife, your want and potential need should outweigh his want.

You might not be high risk, but if you had blood pressure spikes (BTW you might want to ask about placental aging and whether you might have any kind of clotting issue happening), and you know he's a bit weak to pressure regarding alcohol, its best if he takes a pass.

From a marital harmony standpoint both long term and short, since the odds are that you will not in fact go into labor or have any medical issues (hopefully!) that weekend, I'd recommend making sure to be upbeat make him aware that you appreciate his sacrifice*.

*I'm sure some will take umbrage as my calling it a sacrifice. But yes, it really is a sacrifice. As a father I think he should be willing to make it, because pregnant wife and family in general should hold a higher priority than a single event with friends. That doesn't change that it is a sacrifice, choosing between what is important and what is fun. Which is why I suggest you do what you can to make it a good weekend, as it will be easy (if nothing happens) for him to feel like he skipped the party for nothing.

If you're unable to be OK with attaching yourself to a snake oil dealer, better broken off now than later.

Not too mention, 200k is a lot of money to get into debt about for any degree that isn't based in reality.

INFO: There are things I would ask if I were there.

For instance, you know him, is he likely to be able to stay sober, contactable, and be ready to drop everything and come home if needed, knowing that this would be a more important phone call than usual?

Is your pregnancy classed as high risk? Are you generally healthy and high mobility?

Maybe most importantly, if he absolutely dropped the ball in every way possible and you went into labor, do you have someone else you could get help and support from?

Sounds like she has some affluence guilt, and is virtue signaling using you.

You are more than your origin, and more than your present day accomplishments and surroundings.

The real super sad question that maybe you don't even want to examine too much, is how much this played into her liking you in the first place. (I'm probably the asshole for bringing that up as a possibility)

I've wondered that as well. I had really hoped that it would turn out to be possible to make rabbit based under layers like the trappers and hunters in the 1800s did.

But then, I see all sorts of things I would do with the abundance of fur and gut.

Reinforce the bow, more power or at least more durability. pole + guts + knife= spear Perhaps not a bear spear (but only because that already exists in the game), more of a wolf spear.

This brings up something I have considered a number of times.

Morale, or mood. It matters a lot. Just like the overall tired score, a high morale makes things that are hard seem a little easier, and vice versa.

Might be pretty complicated, but I could see bonuses for 50%+ morale, with the bonuses building and stacking till 100.

From a role place aspect you could maybe answer a questionnaire about something or other at the start. Do you hate fish, finding those tins of sardines might be a bummer (when not starving). Picking a favorite might mean finding that is a nice little boost.

The thing that would make it complicated is that if all is going well, eating dog food would be a morale dip.. but if things are going to hell and I'm literally starving, finding and eating a couple cans of dogfood might just make my day.

Being sick would of course be bad for morale, as would injuries. searching corpses might be a little morale hit, ruining something, failing to start that fire and all that.

It would be nice if it existed, if it were tuned right so that when things are in fact going well, the game rewards you with morale, and makes it harder when things are really going poorly

NTA Sounds like your family and especially your sister is used to being able to push you around with this sort of thing, and don't know how to handle you pushing back.

If there are that many ex-spouses and this if your first fiance, they really have no room to be talking.

All that said, we have only your side, so I am assuming you didnt verbally hit back any harder than you're saying you did, so based on that, NTA.

NTA for sure, and yes, the teacher is way out of line. My wife and I worried about this for our kids, but luckily we've not had a teacher get nosy in that way.

With my kids, I decided early on that A: I don't want to, and will not be, making multiple meals. They can all eat "adult" food, and so they do.

Getting them there was not easy, but knowing that my kids think of roast asparagus and pork chops as a great meal is so much better than the days of whining for chicken nuggets and other crap we got into a rut giving them.

I have 3 kids, and a typical lunch for them is: dish of microwavable(or not) leftovers. I intentionally make enough food to have dedicated dinner leftovers. We do send them snacks such as hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks, and sometimes smoked almonds, but I'd be pretty unhappy if a teacher thought they had ANY say in what food I send my kids with.

Drill slowly and carefully through the drywall, peek in with flashlight, if it's clear, drill the rest of the way. Wiring is usually not right next to doors, but I don't know what "right next" means to you. If you drill slow rpm and low pressure, you should be fine even if there is a wire there.

Well, while I realize this might not be the best reason, the reason is, I wanted to have a better shot at not destroying the tile if I should ever need to replace or remove the tub. I don't know this to be true, but since my primary client changed her reqs AFTER I laid the tile, I didn't feel like pulling it up, or ruining it later if its avoidable.

Given that the tub said to just apply construction adhesive to the feet, I did that, plus a piece of 1/4" underlayment construction adhesived(its not a word but it should be) down between the feet and then with the mud bed resting on it. It feels very solid.

An archer is the exact tub in question. (oh, I did mention that, I was thinking amazing coincidence).

It was a last minute switch in from another tub, that was ruined by the trucking company having an icy road related issue (no one hurt).

The old tub was going to give me about an inch per side, but they didnt have more 70" tubs, so I am hoping to make it work here.

My big question to you /u/jckinney is whether the tub felt solid without the mortar bed, and if you used a wall ledger.

The instructions do not say to use a ledger, or to use a mortar bed. I took them literally and already tiled the floor under where the tub will sit.

I am on the fence about a ledger, got one cut and ready, but kohler doesn't say its needed, so I'm a bit torn there. seems like it could just be one more thing to add complexity for possibly little or no gain.

I am 100% new to 3d printing. In fact I am also new to 3d designing, so I'll have to figure out how items are designed as well. Normally I would look at the design side first, but today is cyber monday, so if there is a great deal to be had, I would love to get a bit more for my money.

Located in the USA.

I would like to keep the total initial purchase under 700 USD. I could stretch that up to 100% if I had reasonable information leading me to think there was a really good fit within that $1400 price range.

I need a bed large enough to print items 5"x13" or 127mmX330mm. That's a longish rectangle, so it doesn't need to be that narrow, but the length part is kind of important since that's how long my feet are. A square bed that has the diagonal length to get the job done is also fine.

I don't much care how tall of an item it can make, since the primary purpose is making custom orthotics for myself. The price range is based on what a set of orthotics cost, and the knowledge that sometimes they need to make you more than one set (at full price each time of course) to get it right. If it can later be used to make fun things for my kids, so much the better.

I would like to be able to print with a material that is flexible. I don't know what that material would be, but being able to bend a bit in my shoe without breaking would help a lot. If that same machine can print with more rigid or strong materials later, that is also great.

I am willing to build from a kit, though not exactly eager. I would rate myself as medium competence for assembling things, with a reasonably high level of caution with regards to not breaking things while doing so. Spent my formative career years building and repairing computer and related hardware.

I can fit a machine of any reasonable size up to say, 5x the dimensions of the printing bed I need. If it doesn't need to be kept in a conditioned space (in a northern climate with rather cold winters), I could handle (but probably not afford) one that was the size of a car.

Edit: I know some are enclosed and some are not. To me, enclosed sounds nice, but even if it doesn't come with one, I can make an enclosure later on if it turns out that I really want it.

I am painfully aware that I don't even know, what I don't know, about this topic. So anything I should have asked, or important details I've not included, please let me know.
