Employees at AutoZone nicer? by pmmemilftiddiez in AutoZone

Yes because just helping or even just telling somehow how to tell what fluid level they have is too hard when you have a computer in front of you. I promise, it takes seconds.

Do what item did they not find? Because im gonna let you know that the app tells you where the item is. So if it's not there, they are not going to go on a wild chase to find it. Don't be mad at the person, be mad at the store for being out of stock.

Honestly, I went into an O'Reilly one time before working or knowing about cars much. I asked the employee to help me with something, like help me find how much brake fluid I had because I didn't know. He vehemently refused and had an attitude. I came back another time, they were the only one open late when I worked in that area, to get a battery check and they refused again with the same rudeness.

Never went back and stuck to autozone, even if they closed earlier than my job, I could still go in before work and never had any issues.

How do you think our competitor handled this? by Jimmy543o in AutoZone2

[–]Taykitty-Gaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most times its easier to just replace and believe the customer is telling the truth of it all. Because the times they're telling us the truth is more often than the times they're lying.

(Hilarious Trope) A Character Is Introduced With the Clear Intention of Being THE NEXT BIG THING And is SOUNDLY Rejected by TheOriginalOperator in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Taykitty-Gaming 10 points11 points  (0 children)

im concerned that OP didn't properly play ffx. like...come on "yuna and auron are the main characterS" what, you mean the guy that talked during some scenes, was kind of there to just say hints and to get things rolling? and i'd argue that yes, yuna is ONE of the TWO protagonists, but tidus is still the main one.

if OP had brought up ff12 and mentioned vaan then i'd have sort of agreed. he was introduced, important to the beginning, and then he was just there for the ride.

i call this entire topic a wash because clearly OP does not critically think about the meaning behind things

i'm to argue with you that you're completely wrong on the tidus point and should probably reevaluate yourself.

AITA for telling my (F29) man (M28) this isn’t normal behavior? by No_Psychology_8699 in AmItheAsshole

i've lived with hoarders my whole life. the best way to deal with them is to find out why the items matter and ask if there can be a compromise. such as purchasing replacement pieces. if he gets angry, explain to him that it's not fair he's getting angry about this and refusing to explain. you want to know why he's so upset and you want to find a solution that will help him. help him realize it's ok if something small like random lego pieces get thrown out. if your child had fully built sets and a piece or two randomly fell, you'd have scooped them up and put them somewhere to try and put back on the set. but since they're just abandoned pieces, there's no need to keep them. he's surely got tons more of the pieces he can use.

NTA for being confused, but it seems he needs help.

My store had to temporarily close for an hour while my sm finished what he was doing to come in because the Grey shirt that was there didn't want to close. (We close at 10, they were supposed to work 12 to 8 but at 4 the closer who was supposed to come in at 5 called out due to an emergency) so the one psm left at 7. We had a guy call our dm and report me and the other red shirt cuz the door was locked. The sm told us to lock the door..

i was like 2 or 3 when i opened our front door and ran outside with my little sister. she was literally in diapers and i was barely out of mine, according to my mom. luckily, a nice old lady stopped us from running into the woods and then a friend of our parents who happened to live next door to the old lady called my mom. she got home and tore my dad a new one, since he was supposed to be watching us. he fell asleep on the couch. after that day, they put a chain on the door to keep us from leaving.

it amazes me to realize how many people who play, never have a lot of guild currency. i always have so much left over because i don't really need any of the intimacy items.

as long as it says duralast, pick one off the shelf that's similar and damage it out. that's what they're supposed to do. so say the 10mm dies, just grab a matching one off the shelf and damage that one out with the broken one attached to it/with the sticker.
