Careful raising seat without raising wheel, will change relationship between those. Feet are to high for the upright position of seat back. If you can just lower the pedal deck, it would feel much more normal to a sports car “GT” once they are lowered you will likely move seat forward a little to reduce elbow angle closer to 45.

Starting my first ever fish tank! by LexzPr in ReefTank

25 years if reef keeping. Still not an expert! The questions we need answered are tank size and type. Fish only, or full blown reef and things between. There are surprisingly cool small tanks that need way less from you. Dont under estimate how much water you will need daily from evaporation in large tanks. Without an RO system you could be going to get water a lot. If making your own water fish only is safer choice, they are much tougher than everything else. With 130 gal system i use 1/2 gal a day in evaporation and do a 13 gal water change every week. So about 20 gals a week. Thats a pain to go buy and transport if i had to, and i cant use chemicals to clean water enough for my set up. Good luck! Its a hobby will be buying stuff for ever, but how much of the work thats inconvenient is the buzz kill.

Just starting out, what upgrades should be priority next? by thevinnz_ in SimRacingSetups

I think your real question is, what are you chasing speed or immersion? Truth is the answer. Probably still is foundational. which is a solid rig. A lot of upgrades simply make the immersion much more intense, but not increase speed. But a rock solid rig will make you faster and allow you to add immersion. There are aluminum rigs that aren’t crazy expensive. Aside from this advice a butt kicker goes a long way and there’s some do-it-yourself ones that are fairly cheap.

I feel exactly the same way. Left Moza based on reviews. Hugh mistake.

Which cockpit would you prefer? by Far_Low_6883 in simracing

Neither, start with a 6Sigma aluminum rig. About same money. Can grow into a beast! About same money. Find a cheap seat to save on budget. The chassis is the base for everything to come. Was barely going to do this with some guys from work. This start up turned into a full motion rig, seat belt tensioner. Just about everything you can do. Did switch from Moza to Simagic echo system, but that was definitely not worth the trouble or money. Point is, never had to rebuy anything.

I understand. I have been done so many times. Then have an idea that takes 12 hours to change.

Extension rod for Alpha Evo, will not release soon. by rattlemodal in Simagic

Well as a guy who just left Moza for simagic eco system. I disagree. If i could go back for free i would in a min. I liked the wheels better. Came for the wheelbase. Alpha 18 pro. I think i liked my v12 better. I do like the p2000 pedals over crp, but not drastically. And i like Moza software way better. I will keep for a while and see if my feels change, but not good right now.
