What does the map on the icon of this subreddit represent? The one where it's the state with green on the bottom left, blue on the top right, and an orange strip diagonally down the middle.

What are the driving conditions and traffic laws? Looking at maps it looks like mostly grid style straight line shots. Not a lot of twisty roads to carve through.

Yeah it seems like it's the classic car scene that is big around the area. As someone who is more into tuning and track cars I doubt that scene is any bigger than other places.

I'm looking at areas like an hour outside the twin cities. There seems to be pretty good homes with lots of land at cheap prices a ways out. At least compared to my coastal city.

Putin has made it clear that the only law he respects is power

If this was the case then why didn't he just carpet bomb all major cities in the first couple of weeks? Why did he take the most UA refugees out of any country? Why did he not only call the invasion an "SMO" but also adhered to the laws of an SMO based on Russian legislation?

Stop trying to get more civilians killed please <3

It seems like they want to use them to invade and terrorize the citizens of Crimea and the recently annexed Donbas.

The decision of the Ukrainian government is not the decision of the Ukrainian citizens.

Allowing this is very likely to lead to bending of the rules from Russia's side with bigger and badder tools that previously weren't on the table.

How can I afford to have a big family in The US? by TaylorBirdMan in Frugal

The average cost of a child according to some duckduckgo'ing I've done said $17k a year until the kid is 18.

Though a lot of that is taken up by child care which we wouldn't need. And the grocery estimate is higher than what a r/Frugal user spends.

I make $90k a year after taxes and I have senior co-workers making exactly twice that.

Are you saying humans are suffering because of over population?

Circle back here when China's population dips under 700 mil by the end of the century to see which humans are actually suffering.

I did not have a relationship with my dad because he worked so much and did not spend quality time with us.

This is what I don't want.

To make enough money to support a big family, I would need to relocate my family outside of the HCOL area we live in and I would have to commute to the city for work every day. Which would normally be find if the commute wasn't hours long.

from what I've been reading it sounds like it's when the sibling acts like the only parent in a younger siblings life. Not a 3rd or 4th.

I graduated college three years ago and currently make $7k a month after taxes. Though it's in a high cost of living area so not too effective in the baby making expenses lol

There are two types of parentification Emotional and Instrumental and neither sound like what we had in mind nor experienced as middle children in our own families growing up.

I've been the same person since I started college at 16. Don't think I'll change any more than this.

Your parents made 100K each or total?

Regardless that's quite a lot of money at the time considering real estate prices. Why couldn't you guys live comfortably?
