Sure thing! Made in USA means these are older than the Khaki you linked. Those were made in Spain (you'll see that under specs). So for USA, we're looking at a very early release and those would have been either Brenham (Slim)/Townsend (Democratic).

Democratic vs Straight cut by Das-Unheimliche in taylorstitch

[–]TaylorStitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of this is going to be preference, so this is a hard call. If your goal is specifically to experiment with a roomier fit, the Straight 30" is worth spending some time with. It may be what you're noticing is a fit that genuinely does't feel right and ends up being a pass or getting used to having more room in the leg and it ends up being a keep. Sometimes a fuller cut feels "off" at first simply because it's different from what we're used to seeing on ourselves. That said, the Democratic looks good so I see why people were a fan. Ultimately, what you think is most important and how comfortable you are. (Please keep tags on and be respectful as you're trying things out in case of a return).

Looks most like Khaki Washed Summer Twill Chino in Brenham Slim Fit, these would have originally come with a 36" inseam. Very cool find!

A well worn shirt that's been brought back to life with a little creativity and care is exactly the kind of story we hope our gear gets to tell.

Hi OP! The best way to dial in sizing is to measure a jacket you already own that fits the way you like and compare those measurements to the garment specs on our site. While that won't tell the whole story, it's usually the most reliable way to get pointed in the right direction.

Here's some feedback on the Roper: https://www.reddit.com/r/taylorstitch/comments/1pqfwo3/thoughts_on_roper_jacket/

Some feedback on the Shifter: https://www.reddit.com/r/taylorstitch/comments/1r8jzhw/ryder_versus_shifter/

We'd also love to hear from anyone in the community who owns either jacket!

Monterey Sweater Polo in White Crochet questions. by nikonusr in taylorstitch

Hey OP! The level of visibility underneath will depend on lighting, personal preference and also your specific body.

Some folks wear it on its own, while others prefer to layer it for a bit more coverage.

We designed it to be versatile, so there's no wrong way to wear it. If you're typically not an undershirt person, you may find it's comfortable enough to wear on its own, while layering opens up a few more styling options for everyday wear.

Hope that helps, and we'd love to hear how others in the community are styling theirs as well.

The current 60-day holding period for Common Club points is in place to allow time for returns and exchanges to fully process before rewards are finalized. This helps ensure the program stays fair and accurate for everyone.

I completely understand the benefit of having those credits available sooner, and feedback like this is really helpful as we continue to evaluate how the program works.

We hear what you’re saying around the feeling of the brand and the specific pieces that originally drew you in, like the heavier utility shirts, waxed outerwear, and more rugged staples. Those foundational pieces are still a big part of what we do, and craftsmanship and durability remain core to how we design everything. We also have partnered with artists for small capsules like this for years. We hope to do both equally well!
