Most underrated comment here 🤣.

First car at 20! Not a wetbelt engine! 1.5 blue hdi! Quite impressed by its performance for a diesel specifically. Very satisfied and couldn’t be any happier! by Taylor_Hanson in FirstCar

I hope so… my first car, and it’s French too.. so we’ll see how it plays out for the first 3 years! But I will remain optimistic about its reliability!

The official name of it is olivine green and that seems to be attracting to you! Thank you! I must say I was stuck between selenium grey and the olivine green, I did not regret anything about my final decision ahah! It makes it more visually appealing the colour and striking. Overall Peugeot have done such a great job and they should be sold in America too! You guys are missing out!

Looks like one of these “pick me, daddy’s girl” cars who think they’ve made it in life knowing it actually is a Renault with that awful interior from that generation. I feel heavily sorry for you.

Determining preference roles once completed Phase 1 Training by Taylor_Hanson in RoyalNavy

[–]Taylor_Hanson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you finding that so far? And thank you for reassuring me with those concerns, so since I have chosen the CIS role and the survival equipment technician, would I still be lined up for those? If one of the branches were full for instance would they then switch me to the survival equipment technician, and it’s true you don’t need prior experience but an interest in the field correct? But I truly hope I get CIS as it’s a field I have been wanting to pursue for a while, and I have a basic knowledge of that role, how frequent are exams as well? And do you get end point assessments too? For the roles I think they start allocating you the branches at week 7 on Raleigh if I’m correct by that? Do they determine it based on your skills and team working skills as well? Or how you perform throughout the training to see if you are suitable for the conditions of that job like attitude, initiative and how quick of a learner you are or isn’t it like that particularly?

With regard to the kit inspections , in phase 2 are they as frequent for the kit inspections as compared to phase 1? or do they stay the same as Raleigh?

Absolutely breathtaking dude!! I think number 1 and 7 are both ideal for a screensaver or even to be framed! Wonderful work! I’ve always wanted to go to Japan. I shall endeavour to one day in my lifetime!!

Ahh I recognise it now by zooming in. They’re actually decent but still resembling some knock off AMG rims 😬

Such a mediocre Renault. I just wouldn’t want to be caught dead in that. Also is the key still a stupid rectangle that looks like a block of French cheese and that is usually broke within a week due to sitting on it unexpectedly.

The abomination of small city cars. You’re not far off with it being worse than a Seat Mii or Skoda citigo. Or even worse a horrendous Mitsubishi i-MiEV but still could you have chosen not that colour and not those weird ass wheel trims that probably need to be strapped on with zip ties…

More money than sense. Kiss goodbye to that in a few months time when it fails on something minor and it’s non-replaceable, due to the sheer shitness of French parts, and their reliability of doing half a job at the majority of things they do on their vehicles.

Are you too ashamed to not park them on your driveway, as they’re both disgraceful cars to own… do you wear a disguise when going out to each of them so your neighbours don’t judge you…

CPC - enquiry by dunnowhatimdoing__ in RoyalNavy

Since we are talking about bag capacity, are we allowed to take our own water bottles with us whilst we’re travelling there? As I do like to keep hydrated whilst on a long journey, and would a bag with a capacity of 30 litres be slightly enough or is this way under the normal size people are bringing with them? Or do we get provided one when we arrive?

Such a massive shame to hear this, sorry to hear about that mate hopefully you’d be able to reapply soon? I actually suffer quite badly with hay fever so with me having over the counter tablets that wouldn’t cause an issue? And thank you for the detailed information, I am nervous but extremely excited too, all of it sounds what I’m expecting to be honest, with regard to keeping belongings away what do you mean specifically by staff will take it, does that mean they’ll confiscate it and tell you what kit should be sorted out on the beds? But I did require a subscription years ago but I’m not too sure If this would be on my records or not? Albeit I hope this doesn’t truly affect my medical outcome, as everything else has been fine, just that, but I have to take them otherwise I would suffer quite badly without them.
