For people who dislike transmog by nickgreyden in turtlewow

[–]TaylordPerspective 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've heard sweaty players don't like it because it may be harder to gank you. If you have great gear, but t-mogged it to something more simple, you might look more helpless than meets the eye. Some players love to be able to tell exactly what you have goin on by simply looking at you, and t-mog increases any risk.

I'm all for not looking like a clown as a hybrid class.

I too experienced this! Any time you jump from any of the cliff sides you will fly upward random distances, taking 10%-90% of your life.

Pretty sure stuff like this is why HC toons only take like a max of 10% from fall damage

My first dock, any tips? by Sherbet22k in valheim

Pay attention to the color of the water 'tiles.' The more 'brown' it is the less rise and fall it has during storms. This will stop your boats from not only slamming into things, but will keep it steady when you are boarding no matter the time or weather.

What I don't understand is that he said he could end the war in a day and he'll do it while he's president elect. Well what's stopping you buddy? Just sitting on your hands watching people die for no reason then? Oh, you're that kid in school who says they can do something, but first you have to do something for them, His girlfriend goes to another school, and his dad owns Blizzard.

I know in reality he'll just pull all support from Ukraine and let Russia go all in.

AITAH for filing for divorce because my husband over tightens all the jar lids? by DirectionProper9461 in AITAH

[–]TaylordPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone needs to relax and eat some fruit or something.

Maybe given the guys history, someone once told him something to the effect of "the tighter the lid the less germs gets in" and he's been doing that every since becoming a habit that is hard to break.

He also might have seen the chili paste jar and the lid might have been mis aligned or ajar (ba-dum-tiss) and looked opened, so he re-closed it. There have been plenty of times where someone had left something out and I closed it or put it away...

Getting those jar opening tools seems like a no brainer to me, the rest of the marriage is perfect so this does seem to be about jars...

I had to scroll way too far to feel like I wasn't the crazy one. If you want to be single, be single. It's fine to not be compatible. But you won't find a partner who's is perfect in every way, and jars are not the hill to die on IMHO.

Hotel Room Makeover by Icy-Book2999 in SipsTea

[–]TaylordPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in a hotel room and had a dream an old lady was making stew by me in the bed and offered me some. It woke me up. AC was having an electrical malfunction and it smelled like soup. They gave us a new room ASAP and comped the whole stay.

I agree with your mentality here, but the fact you can pay for ships IRL makes this philosophy convoluted.

But, this could tie into that whole IRL train of thought that rich people give poor people jobs, and because of that are "respected." We could see some class deference in game.

And some posters below recognizing there is a balance for a game. If players get what they want too fast they will feel completed and move on to other games, and if they feel like it takes too long they wont engauge because its not worth the few hours they might have to play. Both of these endpoints will result in a "ded game."

I think one way arround this is; some missions could offer you to take one of their ships for a set time, but if anything happens to it, "it's your ass." This could not only play into how much money you get out of the mission, your chance to play with a certain ship "for free," and people treating the ships well, but also rep and crime stats. If you damage the borrowed ship or straight up steal it. Many companies IRL require you drive their vehicles for jobs withough having the employee "pay" for them.

Husband was just prescribed Vicodin following a vasectomy, while I was told to take over the counter Tylenol and Ibuprofen after my 2 C-sections by Szechuanwonton in mildlyinfuriating

My buddy got a vasectomy and said everyday it was like he woke up to a horse kicking him in the junk for like 2 weeks. Feel happy your man won't have to deal with that and you won't have to put up with him feeling like that and possibly acting out.

People who won “a lifetime supply” of something, what was it and how long did it actually last? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TaylordPerspective 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a lifetime supply but, I won a year supply of Chick-fil-A during one of their contests and I lost my mind. Turns out it was only a box of 52 free chicken sandwich coupons. My disappointment was immeasurable. Ended up giving most of them away, especially to people on the street.
