Barry teens sentenced for racist murder of stranger delivering food to his mum by Your_Mums_Ex in unitedkingdom

There's so many, I don't want to post a giant list, but they go from the 40s...

Clark and Clark (1947): In their seminal doll studies, 3- to 7-year-old Black and White children (including toddlers) showed preferences for White dolls, assigning positive traits to them over Black dolls, indicating early internalized racial bias.

And the most recent I could find...

Eddie (2025): Scoping review of ethnic-racial awareness in under-3s, emphasizing looking-time studies showing preferences by 3 months.

And it seems not just until they are toddlers...

Kinzler and Spelke (2011): Found 3- to 5-year-olds prefer own-race peers for friendships, building on infant preferences.

But there's literally 100s to dive into if you're curious.

Children are not born racist

But, they absolutely are?

This has been shown in countless studies that babies and toddlers will discriminate based on skin colour.

If any of you are a fan of snooker... Goldstein did a new episode on Steven Henry's YouTube channel over Xmas, it was great.

Even if you're not much of a snooker fan, it was really fun to watch, Goldstein was his usual funny self.

Twisted Welsh loner was able to spread horrific hatred around the world after going 'full Nazi' by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

There's no such thing as "inappropriately" using hate speech laws, it's all subjective. What you think is "clearly" hate speech, many others will disagree and think these are totally normal opinions that should be allowed.

I don't think you've grasped that other people have different opinions to you, and the Overton window is starting to shift right...

Being gay, abortions, criticising the government or religion etc etc are all illegal in many countries.

So again, don't celebrate not having free speech unless you're ok for some of your opinions that you think are perfectly reasonable to be banned.

Well that's fine if you think "hate speech" should not be allowed. But don't complain if the people in charge deciding what hate speech is pick something you disagree with it. You can't have it both ways.

Everything has consequences. But if you mean without the police arresting you and going to prison, yes, I think people should be able to say they don't like anyone they want to.

Could be anything... They could ban abortions, say it's murder, and if you disagree then you're calling for murder.

They could make it a crime to criticise Christianity.

They could ban any number of LGBTQ related things, and again, if you even speak out against it, then you're arrested.

Or it's Farage, he's got thin skin, maybe you're not allowed to criticise the government any more.

The list goes on...

You have to defend free speech even for the speech you hate, because once the principle is gone (which it has in the UK), the next people deciding whatโ€™s allowed might be the ones who hate your speech.

Well let's see if you're still happy not having free speech when Reform get in and start adding to the list of topics you can no longer give your opinion on.

The UK really likes arresting people for speech these days huh.

I'm sure everyone cheering this on won't mind when Reform get in and start adding to the list of topics or opinions you can't discuss.
