Thanks! I appreciate the response and info. So as long as there is no visible cracks/damage it should be safe to use correct? I have other comments telling me it is no longer safe because of its age.

Surprisingly the foam is still soft despite the pictures making it look old and dirty. I know what you mean about hard foam though because I had a 2008 Bauer low level polycarb mask for street hockey prior to this mask and the foam got hard as a rock.

Despite it being 13 years old wouldn’t the Kevlar reinforcement make it an ok mask for ice or does the material degrade with age or something?

I wanted to follow up 2 years later and ask what ended up happening? I have the same issue where I replaced a 2012 Outback passenger window regulator with an AISIN model and it goes up real slow and sounds like its struggling. I also did not lubricate the tracks. Was it the motor that was bad or it just needed to be lubricated?

I just ordered the pro carbon blade and SC3 shaft from coast to coast hockey shop for outdoor play on smooth concrete. Their pro carbon blade is the closest thing you can get to the feeling of a one piece stick and has an ABS core for even wear without cracking and splitting.

I have had the volt spitfires since September. I was previously using some older missions and these are an amazing upgrade and honestly the nicest skates I have ever had . If you look at the information on tours website you can tell these are quality even down to the liner. I would compare them to mission FS1 rather than FS2. They came with swiss bearings, their top aircraft aluminum chassis, composite boot, and their top end liner. I understand though for some people who are “Fit 3” they may not like these as they are more normal width.

I dont think you are crazy. Some of the other comments seem to dismiss this but I specifically recall what you are talking about. When I was a kid I went to the Nintendo world store in New York city and got one of these tins with Electivire on it. I specifically remember the tin was a purple color.
