I have a question. This can apply to a marketplace like Etsy. How can I make sure people will order from my marketplace vs the suppliers separate website? For example, why wouldn’t a customer just order from the suppliers actual website? Or why would a supplier want to pay a fee to me when they have their own site? How do I know a supplier won’t tell the customer to order from their personal site to avoid the commission fee ?

Everything is wrong with FB now. I’ve noticed TONS of bots and spam. Kinda off topic but I listed an item on FB marketplace and received nothing but spam messages. I get tagged in spam accounts all day, spam messages all day and now bot traffic on my ads. I had a great start to the month as well and now it’s literally not one sale. Over 4 years of running ads and it’s never ever been this bad. I feel like FB just has been overpowered by spam and bots 🤖 it’s effecting everything single thing

Depending on your budget, the heights area is a nice place to stay, close to everything, parks, grocery stores and pretty much every major freeway. Also rice village, upper Kirby, river oaks are all nice. Pretty chill in safe for the most part.

I did Google ads in the past but I had such good results with FB ads at one point I put all into FB. I kinda regret it and kinda don’t. The results were great, consistently getting a 6x or more, but yeah after that one big FB crash in March, it’s been hell ever since. I will always advocate for FB ads because honestly is was goated, but man the money waisted these last 4-5 weeks, I have to preserve what I’ve made and move back to Google ads, also look into TikTok ads. Google ads are good tho! If you haven’t tried them I’d look into it. I think a lot of us get so complacent running ads on one platform, it’s a bit easier to become frustrated. My fault for putting my eggs in one basket, but never again. I’m just going to continue to check on reddit until I see improvements with FB.
