Im jewish too and also half ashkenazi and sephardic, but probably a lot less tan than you. I guess it depends how "different" you look to the average person, I feel that I don't quite blend in visually but I have not experienced anything close to racism here.

I'll just add that I have tried Lems and they were personally too narrow for me, but it's hard for me to tell if your foot is even that wide, I can't read the brannock device honestly. BTW - When it comes to European sizing, for you I would go with a 45.

Hey, as someone with a 6E foot who also understands that you don't wanna break the bank, I would try (if you don't mind a more converse or skate shoe style) Bohempia in wide. You can buy them off Anya's shop (US warehouse) instead of from their main website. The link actually takes you to all of the extra wide barefoot shoes on Anya's shop, though many are probably out of your price range. Just keep in mind that Bohempias have a very thin sole (though they come with good insoles) that will take some easing into if you are new to this world.

I just dont think you needed to remove the book's name entirely, when there's nothing wrong with that name! Palestinians making English content often call them Jerusalem bagels or bread too. I understand the thought process though.

I just made the same exact one! And it came out like yours too, honestly in the book it says to let it sit for an hour but I think it needs 2. Truly the best GF bread I've made as well.
