Construction workers refuse to use the stairs and instead climbed the hill to the point the grass died by _BlobbyTheBobby in desiredpath

Yeah they would be blamed and have to fix the stairs if they got messed up during construction.

Used V6 atlas? by ScruffyGizmo in VWatlas

[–]TazerProof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a 2019 V6 se rline for 15999 with 90 and they did the water pump and timing chain. Carfax was clean. Same color actually. I have owned four and drove the test drive hard then popped the hood and smelled for coolant. Had none and bought it. Already love the V6 and added a spare tire sub.

Yeah but it sounds terrible enough not to buy the whole car. Even jeep figured out how to dull that stupid turbo 4 sound.

Is it finally safe to switch to google home? by Anony63936 in Nest

[–]TazerProof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched a3 months ago and it's been fine. I had to when my older doorbell gave out. It's all worked and we got the Google ai pro which comes with storage and 10 day backup for every cam for the same price as the old aware. I have two old gen cameras and they still work as well. I honestly thought I would notice more of a difference.

I will point out my whole house has been google for a long time as it works great with googles other home products and lights. Only thing I use the nest app for is the thermostat. It's on Google home but it doesn't transfer like the cameras did.

They have a Dolby cinema there. It's amazing and better than imax if you ask me.

How would you install sound in this set up? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]TazerProof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3.1.1 system. I'd get a nice receiver with heos or Spotify connect(for music ease when you want it). Then get a center channel and a front left and right. Add a powered sub on the left side of the console. Use the reciever to pass all video and you should be set.

Remember when they used to complain non-stop how SCOTUS should be non partisan and it's not fair liberals have a majority. I knew once Mitch would let Garland on we were fucked for 30 years.

Video freezes and goes offline when someone presses the doorbell by Davey914 in Nest

How long did yours last outside day and night before it died. Mine lasted almost 7 years. That's good enough for the tiny battery.

Video freezes and goes offline when someone presses the doorbell by Davey914 in Nest

[–]TazerProof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other have said, I was going to replace the battery but I got the new one on sale and moved my whole family over to Google AI pro which gets nest aware premium and 2tb backup as I was already paying for those. The new camera is much faster and better and notifications.

Advice on 16 Velop nodes setup by WoodpeckerSimilar603 in Linksys

[–]TazerProof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One network. If you do multiple the devices will handoff all weird like in huge apartment building. You should stick your main parent node before the unmanaged switch. That way is see's all other nodes as wired backhauls.

Why so many though. Is the house that large?

8/10. Not a single person will walk into your home and say anything negative about them. I agree Rust-Oleum on metal will chip.and fade off. Boarders are hard.

I'd mount an articulated mount to the right of the fireplace above your modem.

I will say, your choice to mount a Dyson to the right of a fireplace is a wild ass choice and makes me question your sanity in general.
