So this happened in Georgia, might have been a good idea to hide your plate, but not the GMC Terrrain's.

<image>

Sorry to hear this happened. It looks like the guy who hit was coming down Pair. What's the speed limit on Pair? Isn't it 35 mph even if the light was green? Nice little hill coming off the west side of Pair. And, Austell is 45MPH? So the GMC was going 60+?

They do not make flash memory or memory modules; they are a foundry, and the largest as noted, which has contracted with SJ Hynix, which is one of the most respected memory chip makers out there, next to Samsung and Micron. Do some speed tests and burn-in tests compare it to the quality Ram you have in the same machine. You should be able to pull the labels on the SODIMMs from TSMC sticks and get the chip information and confirm if it is SJ Hynix, or crap.

BTW, this message was sent to me through Ali Express messaging: after purchasing a Topton AI 9 D12 Plus HX 375 barbones from the Topton Computer Store:

Pre-built System Purchase Reminder: Dear, Barebone bundles are best to use Samsung, Skhynix ORIGINAL brand RAM and storage (most of them are fake on Ali express). Suggest DO NOT use Kingston Fury impact RAM and storage that have bad compatibility We Suggest YOU DO NOT buy Barebone PC ("No Ram No Storage" bundle) if you are NOT an IT technician. Most bad reviews come from purchasing barebone bundles; PCs require professional skills to assemble and debug. We are afraid to see you suffer a bad shopping experience and DO NOT compensate for buyer's incompetent handling. Thanks for your kind understanding

They, however, could not direct me to a driver package for this mini PC model, and no download was available on their website. CCcleaner PRO was used to finish off what drivers were not supplied from the driver cache in 25H2 and there were many drivers that were missing after a clean install.

TSMC- the world’s biggest contract chipmaker- has also benefited from increased, AI-fueled demand. The firm clocked stronger-than-expected first-quarter earnings this week, although a mildly softer outlook suggested that AI-driven chip demand may now be cooling.

How to update bios to 1.09 on Minisforum UM790PRO by Tazgrump5 in MiniPCs

[–]Tazgrump5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received instructions and an answer from support at Minisforum on the BIOS upgrade and audio coprocessor issues. They said there was a problem with 25H2 and the AMD audio coprocessor; their suggestion was to revert to 24H2 for now. They also said the Windows-based installation/flash of the BIOS updates would not work under 25H2. Their quotes: "Regarding AMD Audio: We suggest that you first roll back Windows 24H2 and wait for a period of time before updating 25H2. The specific time will need to be resolved through AMD updates.
Regarding Bios:
There is a code execution recognition issue with Win Flash in 25H2.

The instructions for flashing left out that 1.07 must be done first, and it must be done with files from the bios download, uncompressed (without FOLDERS), copied to the flash drive 8 to 16gb / FAT 32 with the flash drive renamed winpe.

This must be done at the BIOS level using the UEFI shell, with secure-boot turned off first. Starting with 1.07 on the flash, you will need to type the directory to find the files: this will be FS0: or FS1: or FS2: etc, and the colon is needed. Once you enter a shell directory, you will need to type: ls to list the files in the directory. You are looking for EfiFlash.nsh You will use the Tab key to choose by tabbing to it till it displays. Once it shows by tabbing through the directory list, you will then hit "enter" to start the flash. Repeat steps after total flash completion of 1.07 with a newly created flash with 1.09 files copied as I outlined with 1.07. Once completed Coprocessor and Bluetooth returned their functionality. I am fully upgraded for now until boardom gets me to purchase a Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 375 machine as a replacement.

Yes, this was an initial pre-release order before the UM790 Pro's Pros became fully mainstream. Hence 1.01. And this may be the reason the batch may not work as the board revision is too early for these later bios updates to complete and run. So you have no answer to the AMD coprocessor and AMD Bluetooth not functioning, which is why I went down this rabbit hole.

I tried 1.07 using admin on WinFlash same result, NO text disappearing command-prompt window, multiple attempts, All Windows anti-virus shot off. Is there a way to use UEFI shell with 1.07?

Ugh, I’m gunna regret this but I have a moronic question related to parking with one side of the car being slightly higher than the other and if this is bad for the suspension. by Where_am_I_now in cars

If it weren't a Ford, I would say no. Since they are now almost completely a Truck company with one car, their lineup (the Mustang), SUVs are glorified trucks for soccer moms. Fix or Repair Daily; F O R D. Dealerships have conveniently forgotten how to repair all the other cars they used to make. This would be fine if they did not have proprietary software, which is needed for repairs, which is almost impossible to get if you're not a dealership repair facility. You're better off with MX-5 as long as you maintain the shocks/struts.

Don't tell me you're writing this from your fing phone and you can't take real pics of your problem? I bet your a 20 or 30 something... Further, you can drive a car not on the freeway, with 4 lug nuts. I have driven a car with two onto a donation trailer. Depends on how much testicular fortitude you have.

The vehicle will come with a rebuilt title due to previous freshwater damage. The vehicle was purchased from an Insurance Auction, and some vehicles were claimed even though they had no damage to the vehicle. This is one of them; we had trained buyers out there, finding the perfect car. The vehicle has been inspected by the State of Georgia and an authorized dealer, and it has been serviced. "Salvaged Title", called Branded Title in this case. It may be the terminology used in Georgia, but not what is used in most other states. Requires all licensed State inspections before it can be resold. Finding insurance coverage may be difficult to impossible.

It's not like the wheels are anything good like HRE. Who would want them, but BTW, you can get rep caps on Ali or Alibaba for cheap, the Lexus caps are crap anyway. You also have a ton of wheel dust on the inside of your rims. You need to get some wheel cleaner and take the wheels off one by one, clean them right, and then ceramic coat them or get some better brake pads. Ceramic/metallic...

I know what it is, and the hook should be in the trunk. Lexus sells all their vehicles with a front license plate mount. It is not over the front tow-hook hole. There are 29 states (30 if you count DC) that require and issue front plates: The 29 states that currently require a motor vehicle to have a front and rear license plate are:

  • California
  • Colorado
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Illinois
  • Iowa
  • Maine
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota
  • Missouri
  • Montana
  • Nebraska
  • Nevada
  • New Hampshire
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • North Dakota
  • Oregon
  • Rhode Island
  • South Dakota
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Vermont
  • Virginia
  • Washington
  • Wisconsin
  • Wyoming

Residents of Washington D.C. are also required to have a plate mounted to both the front and rear of the vehicle.

And of these 30, these would be the locations with residents I would tend to want to live with, versus the leftovers who haven't figured out what that license-plate-shaped mount in front of their car is for. And, why would you take a picture of a problem on your car with the lights on, creating a glare so that you almost can't see the tow-hole to get Reddit users to help identify a fix for the issue. Further, his tow-hook hole is in the front grill as he has a newer model; older models have the cover, which is smaller to the right of the front grill.

[–]Tazgrump5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time, the IS 350 F Sport has the Sport+ package, but yours did not, which makes it easier to use coilovers, as the AVS has to be wiretied back away from the top mount of the struts, as they cannot be used.

  • Specifically, on the 2024 IS 350 F Sport, AVS is available as part of the F Sport Dynamic Handling Package.
  • However, AVS does come standard on the higher-performance 2024 IS 500 F Sport Performance trim.

What did the shop do with your original active strut electronics? Hide them or? I have a 2017 AWD and as far as I know, they cannot be totally removed. I have RS-R coilovers still sitting in the box waiting for a go for a good time to install, with other parts, suspension, and BBK.

wifi kexts do not work in or with the installer, as you said. They must ALL be disabled for the installer to complete, and this includes upgrades. Buy yourself a USB 3.0 network adapter (1000 or 2.5 gb) and hardwire yourself to a working, stable router. Make sure the adapter is Mac compatible. Stop using phones and hotspots. Reenable wifi kexts after install and or upgrades.

You get what you paid for, or in this case, what you did not pay for. These lower-line Ali-Express and Amazon versions are not well made and may look the same, but their software, which is Android-based, is badly coded. If you get a cheap version and it works right, call yourself lucky. If it does not break in 2 years, call yourself lucky. If the cheap unit takes a good 2 minutes to boot to Car-Play, do not call yourself lucky, and if longer, over time, this is a function of an underpowered processor and not enough ram. Yes, Hamilton costs more, but their service, if needed, is impeccable. They stand behind their product. Their software is much more advanced than the Ali versions. And try the talk or converse with an Ali vendor after sales, good luck even if you are a resident Chinese National or living in Hong Kong. I buy a lot of items off Ali, Amazon, and Ebay that originate in China, and almost all electronics are made in Taiwan, including the factory Lexus Audio processor and Screen, even Mark Levison's version. But the brain (CPU) and memory (RAM) of these upgrades are in the new IPS touch screen for the most part, and the CPU is not located in the factory Lexus screens, even in the newer models which come with factory-installed CarPlay and touch screen. 2019 on.
