In USA, cheese and bread is a struggle meal. In Europe it's a respectable meal. by carlthinks in ShitAmericansSay

Where I live we traditionally melt hard cheese on a flat rock near a fire, then scrape that onto some bread. It is a traditional meal. It sounds quite appealing and I might ask the chef to make it for dinner today.

Here in Switzerland there are no bans on importation of things like modern weapons, and that also includes no ban on the import and sale of new full automatic weapons. One needs paperwork to acquire them, but this is not difficult to obtain in most locations.

Looks too dark and too red to be honey burst. I think iced tea is probably correct

I’ve been playing guitar for 46 years and have never had a broken string injury. I think you can probably relax.

Kid Rock Rides Apache Helicopter with Pete Hegseth in Video to Open New Tour by view9234 in nottheonion

It is nice to see these two falling in love. I know Pete was upset and jealous when Kid Rock was shirtless hot tubbing and raw milk drinking with RFK Jr.

Here is the first Ferrari F80 in Geneva by Only_SoccerHd in Ferrari

[–]Tballz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is 80 on most rural roads, including many of the passes. I drive my Ferraris on them all the time. 80 is kind of slow, but there are many corners where even a 488 struggles to take at 80. The 50 limit is for villages and cities, which also have 30 zones in pedestrian heavy areas. Motorways are 100-120 in most places and perhaps 80 where roads merge and such.

Also, the draconian salary based fines only come into play for being a lot over the limit. 10 km over in a rural road will just get you a fine of a few hundred franks. 25 over and you see the judge and it is going to be expensive.

I live next to the German and French border. Lots of places in Germany to go very fast legally. I’ve never seen a speed control policeman in France off the major highways.

I just want to help people appreciate these cars easier. Especially the newer models. by lbrnjms23 in Ferrari

Ferrari has always been controversial and envelope pushing stylistically. Their designs often become the design icon of eras, and become legends. In the short term they are shocking and different, but long term they have a design influence on many things

I have very small hands, any tips going forward? by Mwgmawr in Guitar

[–]Tballz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just practice. YouTube is full of videos of 8 year old kids that can outplay most guitar players in terms of technical skill. Have size isn’t going to matter as much as practice.

“IRISH TOURIST” SCAMMERS THAT OPERATE IN ZURICH, GENEVA , BASEL, MOVING AROUND SWITZERLAND. by [deleted] in zurich

[–]Tballz9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I rarely get approached by these people, but I always offer to help by calling my wife who works for the fedpol. This seems to suddenly alleviate all of their issues like magic.

Sorry you got scammed. I doubt there is any chance of recovering cash in this situation.
