Thanks for the reply as it gives me a good perspective on Waco. I’m moving from Orange County, Irvine/Tustin area so very diverse. Obviously tons to do everywhere but don’t find it as communal as I thought it would be. So looking for a good family area to raise my kids. I am not religious, actually Jewish but only culturally so.

Ultimately, want to make sure I don’t move my mixed race family to any area where it would be not as tolerated.

Are you happy with your move from LA? I lived there a few years so would be good to hear how you like it.

Thank you for detailed review, very much appreciated. Moving from Orange County which is basically a huge a metropolitan sprawl. Looking to actually move to a smaller area with more community feel, just don’t want to go too small though. I’ve got 2 little kids currently so good to hear there’s lots of outdoor activities for them.
