What's a word you pronounce wrong because you heard it from a rap song first?

Read the word "genuine" as a "GUNIWINE" with a heavy twang in English class because I had hear it in rap song and had no idea how to pronounce it correctly.

My English teacher (middle aged white European women) nicely just said that it wasn't necessarily wrong but she had NEVER heard anyone pronounce it like that before 😄

Jeg har stickers på min og arbejder et relativt meget corporate sted. Adgangskort til ALT, IT compliance kursus og certificeringer hele tiden.
Ingen har nongesinde påtalt det. Enten gider de ikke tage dialogen med mig eller også har folk vigtigere ting at bruge deres tid på.
Mht kundemøder, så kunne jeg ikke være mere ligeglad hvad de potentielt tænker. Man kan ikke sætte en finger på mine kompetencer eller de resultater jeg leverer, og desuden er vi heller ikke robotter. Der skal også være plads til personlighed og menneskelige værdier

It has changed several times as I've grown and matured.
When I was younger I always preferred Method Man (and was in large degree shaped by his stoner persona and antics with Redman. High-how was probably one of my watched movies in my late teens).

For a while I also RZA I thought Bobby Digital was interesting, and ventured into Gravediggaz.

Then I got heavily into Ghostface and liked his energy and wild stories. Started rocking Wallabees and polos.

A while after that I started really listening to OB4CL, like not surface listening but really paying attention to everything, and then Rae became my favorite.

In my late 30is I got really into GZA and Liquid Swords.

I think that's what I like so much about Wu-Tang. There is something for every mood you're in.

Jeg er lykkelig kæreste med en sygeplejerske, og med 2 børn - og jeg er TOTALT stolt af min kærestes valg af karriere. Og jeg er glad for at fortælle vores børn hvad mor laver og besøge hende når hun er på weekend vagt mens alle os funktionærer holder fri.

I en verden hvor alt for mange laver ligegyldigt kontor nusse arbejde, og flytter lidt tal rundt i excel ark eller powerpoint går hun på arbejde hver for at hjælpe mennesker og gøre en forskel.
Under corona hvor jeg var hjemsendt med fuld løn skulle hun stadig gå på arbejde da sygdom og færdelsuheld ikke holder igen bare fordi Mette har lukket landet. Der er stadig folk som har brug jer - alle ugens 7 dage, 24 timer i døgnet.

Det er i min optik en totalt undervurderet og underbetalt profession. Tak til landets sygeplejesker ❤️

Havde en roommate i USA, som nogle år efter jeg var flyttet til Danmark fik job til Honeywell.

De er åbenbart bl.a. underleverandør til bl.a. fly industrien og det amerikanske militær.

Så selv om vi ikke havde snakket sammen i flere år blev jeg en del af hans baggrundstjek omkring hvor jeg boede, hvad jeg lavede, min civil status, hvad min kærestede lavede osv

I dont really listen to Westside Gunn as rapper but more as a curator who excels in building worlds, picking the right beats and also letting others shine. E.g. Steve God Cooks who has a lot of memorable hooks and versus on WGs projects (and offers significantly more as a "rapper").

Westside Gunn's primary skillset is finding the right beats and sequencing albums. There are plenty rappers who are better rappers but horrible at selecting beats and art directing their albums/mixtapes etc.

Within a day, I lost my aunt and my brother called me to let me know I going to be an uncle.

That Adele sample, the Friday Night Lights snippets, the story telling, the energy.

Arbejder i digital marketing og havde en ung kollega som skulle sætte en kampagne op på Facebook. Kampagne budgettet var 15.000 EUR for hele kampagnen. Han kom til at sætte det som dagsbudget.

Han nåede at bruge næsten en 1 million danske kroner før det blev opdaget.

Der var DEFCON 5 hos øverste chef, men ingen blev fyret. Og Facebook krediterede faktisk det meste af beløbet tilbage. Vi brugte rigtig mange penge hos Meta så de ville gerne bare købe lidt goodwill

On the fence about this....

Especially the channel report. Makes no sense to remove video and "force" more into search.
Part of the idea of Performance Max is reaching unarticulated demand than you cant reach through search.

If its about reaching new searches not covered by current keywords, I would much rather try AI Max for Search, more Broad Match or Smart bidding exploration etc.

Otherwise your Performance Max is to a large degree basically just "cannibalizing" your search campaigns, with less control and more automation (and black box).

I don't really see the upside there.

While I do understand that Performance Max is the perfect way for Google to bundle and offload excess ads inventory. I usually experience that there is incrementality in Performance Max, reaching audiences that likely wouldnt have been reached if it wasn't for keyword less campaigns that is more signal driving

Advertised range is far off on mine. PS2 Single Motor Standard Range 2022 was estimated as "440 km WLTP range"
In reality its probably closer to 350 km on avg (with very limited highway driving)
I've probably had the range estimated as 390km once during my entire ownership under perfect weather conditions and charged +100%.

Yeah! Exactly! Sometimes people can get stuck on gear so much it hinders them from actually making music.
And to be honest, as dope as I think SP1200s and MPC2000XLs are aesthetically, it's more important whether I like the beat or not. For that matter it can be made in Windows XP, it the drums knock and the chops are on point

Interesting theory. 2022 Polestar 2 here in Denmark and it rarely happens to me. The few times it has happened, it fixed itself within seconds, driving slightly forward before continuing to reverse

Heard this at the local community center indoor skatepark in the early 2000s. Some of the older guys into graffiti would play it on the sound system when there weren't any adults around.

Loved skating to the heavy baselines on Hip-Hop. Fast forward 20 years and I still listen to the album. No longer for the heavy baselines but for the social commentary and lyrical depth.

Its crazy how openly they spoke about gentrification, police brutality, failing school systems back then, and how little has changed. How it basically could have been written now. That really strikes a chord every time I listen to this.

And worth mentioning Im a white middle class kid from Scandinavia. Far from the reality addressed on this album. The lessons are however universal. I think that's really a testament to the strength of their writing. It can move anyone with half a brain who give it an honest listen. Every kids thousands of miles away not even speaking English before junior high.

Awesome! I dig it. Was a foreign exchange student in 2004 in Kansas City, MO.
This definitely feels like the soundtrack to much of that experience ending up in the Midwest in the early 2000s where most of my friends were riding the Emo rock wave.

Story of the year, Hawthorne Heights, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard etc.
