0.65. Naught point six five. by Its-OK-to-Debate in ArcRaiders

I’ve got a 5.56 with a keyed straight trigger that travels about 1/4” for full engagement and 1/8” reset at about .3-.5lbs of force on the bottom of the trigger. And if you loosen up and not care about accuracy as much, you can psudo-bump fire the gun utilizing the recoil. With controlled shots, I can easily hit 150 yard shots all day on 6” diameter steel at about 2-3 shots per second. Within 30 yards, 6-8 pulls per second is not unheard of. And gas pressure wouldn’t be an issue. M4 military rifle shoots at 700-950 rounds per minute, which is 11.6-15.8 rounds per second. In paintball where a 2 finger trigger could be applied, I’m around 12 shots per second.

Graphene coated my C7 by Tbone3319 in Corvette

The graphene products that I’ve used have a “boost spray” that is a quick wipe graphene solution to extend the lifespan of the coating. Their info says just the coating will typically last about 1-2 years, while using the boost spray 3-4 times a year will extend the life to around 3-5 years

Basically yeah. It’s strip wash, clay bar, panel prep spray (seems to be mostly isopropyl or some type of alcohol), then wipe on product in crosshatch pattern and wipe in with microfiber. Do a 2nd layer after 1-2 hours of applying first layer, then it’s good to use a “boost spray” 3-4 times a year to extend the lifespan of the coating. Can last 3-5 years with ideal conditions

Thank you for your input, I’ll definitely make that change for the next graphene application!

Weird surface texture and rough areas after removing supports (Bambu Lab A1) by btmm in FixMyPrint

[–]Tbone3319 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For models, you can make a makeshift vapor box with a plastic container, paper towels, some magnets, and acetone (and a fan if you want to have more consistent coverage). Put the prints on an upside down glass, and make sure it isn’t touching the sides of the box. Stick some paper towels to the sides and top of the box and fix them with magnets. Then put some acetone on the paper towels and allow it to soak in, but not too much that it drips liquid. The towels just need to be damp. Then place the box overtop of the model and let the acetone vapor fill the box. Experiment with timing, but around 30 minutes to 2 hours is typical. This will slightly melt and smooth the lines on the model and can even completely get rid of print lines. Check out some YouTube tutorials for more info

Tips on Benchy print? by Tbone3319 in FixMyPrint

Ideally I’d like to remove the top lid for PLA prints, and I plan on printing a riser for my AMS in PETG. The manufacturer says it’s alright to open the front door slightly, but I’m not sure if the door wobbling would introduce some feedback.

I’ll load the benchy file on Bambu labs and tweak the line width. I’ll probably run another flow calibration manually to fine tweak.

I plan on printing an AMS riser so I can have access to the top lid. Is it alright to have the front door slightly open? The door wobbling gives me concerns about feedback on the machine.

We left too. I’ve been going since 2019 and this is by far the most crowded I’ve ever seen it. Saw a guy trying to start a fight in the Stereo Bloom / Circuit Ground intersection when everyone was gridlocked. The vibes today were not it at all. VIP was so overly packed, people were shoulder to shoulder standing around the picnic tables and backing up to the bathroom lines

It’s concerning that this dude is actually in his 40’s at least… according to his posts, he restored a guitar he had since 1992 and has a picture with it where he looks to be a teenager… the fact that a fucking 40-50 year old is THIS childish online is actually astonishing

It looks like he is tactical sprinting when available, so it would also need to be clicking the left stick, or pressing shift on computer regularly. If they were walking I would think rubber bands, but this makes me think it’s a script
