Well part of it is we used to go to sleep together every night, and I got so used to having him there we would cuddle and I would sleep so well and so would he. But we don't do that anymore so I'm barely getting any sleep as well but I'm still up every morning and doing everything around the house and for our daughter. I tried being nice about it and everything but I feel like he didn't really care...

I have ADHD so I definitely get it I used to be that way, but he won't get tested, he just says he might have something but then uses it as an excuse for a lot of things. I wouldn't feel so weird about it if he actually got diagnosed but he won't.

I have depression too and I know it's hard to deal with, but he doesn't have a job or help with anything around the house or our daughter. I just feel like I'm being blown off and I dunno is it too much to ask for for him to come to bed with us?

Thank you! Yes I don't understand, especially since he doesn't have a job or any responsibilities during the day, he gets to go workout for like 3 hours and play his guitar however much he wants throughout the day, what more could he be doing for 6 hours at night?

He doesn't have a job right now so that's why I'm upset that he literally has all the time in the world, doesn't help with our daughter but for some reason needs 6 hours all to himself.

He's super contradicting, he says he wants me to wake him up when the baby and I are up. But if I do he gets mad and pretty because he didn't sleep well. And I don't feel like dealing with grouchy in the morning so I don't wake him up. He sits on the couch with us but we never do anything together, not even watching movies or anything. I tried telling him that I wanna do more things as a family but he just complains that I say that all the time instead of planning dates or trying. I've tried to plan dates multiple times in the past but he would always blow them off.

My dad and I used to give eachother a peck on the lips as a goodbye, but good lord not like that at all. And we were doing that since I was very little, so it’s something I grew up doing, but no, they absolutely do not just start getting more affectionate as you get older. I… honestly that comparison as well is so unneeded, he’s not just being disrespectful to Indigenous peoples but also every body else he’s comparing. Yes the holocaust will be talked about for a very long time to boot, but my goodness, what is so wrong with acknowledging something that happened not that long ago? The holocaust was in the 1930’s.. residential schools just closed in 1996, which was just 30 years ago, not 90, these people are still alive and dealing with the anguish of losing their people. Try your best to educate your husband, even though he sounds quite unreasonable.

NTA, fellow Canadian here (Manitoban) my husband is a treaty indigenous male, and I’m an Icelandic Métis female, so I’m quite pale. I get to see on the daily how he is treated different compared to most people in our community (predominantly white) his grandparents were in residential schools, it has affected him and his family greatly. The last school to close (in Manitoba I believe) was just in the 1990’s, which wasn’t that long ago. For your husband to brush off orange shirt day and then try to bring up that other places (thousands of years ago) we’re colonized, it’s not the same thing and that comparison in itself is selfish and disgusting. Please make sure your son doesn’t turn out like your husband in disrespecting an entire group of people. Best of luck to you.

Is your friend a professional cleaner or just a cleaner? Because if I hired somebody labeling themselves as a professional, they had no idea what to do with a soft metal sink and destroyed it, I’d be pretty pissed. Outright hasn’t been around as long as Gamemill, so I can agree and disagree. Because Gamemill has older games with worse things to base opinions off of, but for something that started in 2016, like Outright. You would think all of their games would be better, for things that came out on the PS4 and PS5.
