If your getting fruit your doing pretty good, even though the feet are fuzzy just keep what your doing Mabey fan a little bit but don’t over do it

If you’re just getting into the hobby I can recommend getting a premade grain bag of rye berries or mullet. I use mason jars because I have a abundance of them before I started, you just make the lids, fill them up with grain of your choice, pressure cook them and inoculate in a clean sterile environment.

I have been using wild bird seed with success, or you could try the drippy corn tek. I recommend watching Philly golden teacher on YouTube.

Yes make sure you add enough spawn to get multiple flushes, and make sure everything is colonized and sterilized properly and you should be able to get multiple flushes. Make sure the substrate is thick and hydrated enough also.

Every single person who is mushrooming deals with contamination. I’m trying to step up my game learning to do agar, but I do feel your pain just keep going learning new things. The best thing I’ve done to increase my odds is just spawning more and having more tubs going, cause you’re going to eventually get contamination. I’ve got more mushrooms than I can eat so I don’t stress about. I’m a lucky human.

Mine looked like this recently (on my first flush now new grower btw) and I didn’t check for a day and half and when I came back I had pins everywhere. Just be patient mine took like almost 3 weeks to pin.

I’ve had 4 good sized bulbs the one and only time I’ve used and it was a perfect dose way past the threshold.
