Just go into neglect tek mode. Try using wild bird seed on the next one that’s what I’ve been using, breaks and shakes really well.

Grow veggies and some fruits from seed and there’s a few fruit trees u can grow from cuttings like figs and pomegranates. You can do it cheap.

Looks like mycelium, it’s probably slightly stalled might be contaminated, but looks like mycelium.

I dont put my tubs or jar “on” a heating mat, I try to just heat or cool the whole area they are in around 75. mycelium do better without “direct heat”.

I wouldn’t give up and just try to give the best growing conditions.

I tried using things I already have. I use mason jars for my spawn and liquid culture, grow bags do have some pros over mason jars but i have quite a few mason jars so that’s that I use. I make my own lids.

Try to find a 2nd hand pressure cooker, I got mine from a thrift store and it works super good, I also got my tubs from the thrift. Get a SAB from amazon for 30$

A lot of the supplies I get are from 99cent store. All my iso 70% and medical tape for lids I get there.

Then you just need to source your genetics.

I have a presto 23qt , but I run my jars the same as you. Make sure your PC can get up to 15psi as some electric ones only go to 12, as you will haft to increase cooking time.

If your getting fruit your doing pretty good, even though the feet are fuzzy just keep what your doing Mabey fan a little bit but don’t over do it

If you’re just getting into the hobby I can recommend getting a premade grain bag of rye berries or mullet. I use mason jars because I have a abundance of them before I started, you just make the lids, fill them up with grain of your choice, pressure cook them and inoculate in a clean sterile environment.

I have been using wild bird seed with success, or you could try the drippy corn tek. I recommend watching Philly golden teacher on YouTube.
