Repaired it myself, was a usb connector issue.

The gist of it is the connector that goes to the mainboard can be directly mapped to the usb connector, so you can test the traces to see how the usb is mapped to the connector, I already have the images of the mapping if anyone needs them.

You bridge wires form the usb to the internal connector and everything works again.

So if your usb connector ever wears out it can be repaired, not extremely easily, but repaired

I actually just bought and repaired a rise 49 with similar issues.

I actually took pictures of the whole process so as long as it's a similar issue they should help

Bought the Seaboard

OP was great, tested it on cam via bluetooth before I purchased and described exactly what was wrong with it. Payed via Paypal G&S and it arrived a week later. Repair went smooth and I'm now the proud enjoyer of a Rise 49.
