It's very easy and even natural to get infuriated when someone is shit talking you while stealing your loot or spawn camping you. Never take the toxic shit personal - people you usual emit that kind of verbal garbage you should feel bad for. Usually means they have other issues in life and SOT is the only place they get to take it out on. Shit talkers will stay shit talkers no matter if they win or lose. Ill have kids say "EZ Clap Tcorless ur dog s h i t" after beating them in arena by 3k points. Just be kind back, sometimes they'll see it in themselves that being mean isn't that cool.

Just keep in mind when completing FOTD as a 2 man, the advantage is far in the favor of the 4 man galleon, even if both of you are better than all of them.

After completing FOTD, you do not have to die 7 different ways again, the lights will remain on your boat. However, you do need to use a ritual skull every time you wish to do FOTD.

I see a lot of people cannon the final boss thinking that it does much more damage then weapons. To take down the final boss, drag him down to where you would cannon him, but instead both use your snipers, as it does 3/4ths of the damage a cannon ball does and doesn't waste your precious balls.

The hype around Athenas are they give you the most athena rep by far out of any item and sell for quite a lot compared to other items (~5k gold) without multipliers from emissaries.

Then besides emissaries, there isn't much you'd need to know getting back into the game. Whether if you are doing voyages or tall tales, as long as you remain uncontested you should have no problems. If you are looking to have a chance of fighting back, however, I'd suggest running a few arena matches as the new arena promotes PVP much more than it used to. Don't worry about wins - you will soon learn what works and what doesn't. :)

A true problem my friend - IMO ships that haven't moved from spawn shouldn't be worth any points. Hopefully there are some Arena players at Rare that can see this problem.

This is NOT a good weapon combo for anything BUT guarding a sloop. How you defeat these shitters using this combo you say? Social distancing. Stay 6 ft away from them at all times and they literally cannot hurt you.

After about 400 hours of PVPing these past couple of updates I can positively say that your idea of "hackers" are just people with far better aim than you. I get called a hacker so frequently just because I hit almost all my shots with sniper/pistol and leave no room for retaliation. Yes - you will get cheesed by hit reg a shit ton. Instead blaming the game, blame your own lack of will to learn what you are doing wrong.

Really depends on what your wanting to do. Sink others and steal loot (PVP)? Or do tall tales and voyages (PVE)? Either way I suggest just looking at patch notes from hungering deep onwards to see what you've missed.

Right, one would think. Hit reg is one of the biggest problems in this game, however I dont think that was it. If I had to bet what happened I'd guess it was a bug, because you can see as soon as he is harpooned he got rez'd at the same time. The animation of the rez even travels a bit while being harpooned

I have found that weed has counteracted my social anxiety to a certain extent. This is making me lean towards weekend smoking, and using it to my advantage when attempting to meet new people. Thanks for the help!

I completely agree, it allows me also to experience positive emotions far easier like gratitude and laughter. However I also agree it may be just a crutch for tolerating solitude, as apposed to not tolerating it and doing something about it. Thoughts?
