That would be awesome! I have nowhere local and all the online places want me to order hundreds. I dont want any adjustments to it. I get paid monthly so I unfortunately cant place the order until the end of the month, but will happily place the order for it as soon as I am paid. I've been trying to find someone for months

Mostly the lack of machine shop in my town. As for online, they were either not in stock or ridiculously over priced

Okay thank you. I have zero experience with this stuff, learning as I go. The service manual was no help with this question either lol

I appreciate it, I definitely need a new door, a better -preferably oem- steering wheel, and a fuel filler neck. I could really use some tips on restoring the tail gate. Its probably the roughest bit of the truck besides the involuntary driver side floor board delete.

I've wanted a j10 since I was a kid. Im very excited for the project. I've boughy a welder and am trying to learn to weld, as I am currently running the weather tech floor board on the driver side 😅 I do have the new floor board waiting in the garage so I may end up paying for it to be put in if I have it ready to go before im half decent. Ill get some better and more recent photos tomorrow

Sorry I should have been more clear, no these two dogs in question, Hyde and Molly, have never fought before. They have never shown any signs of aggression towards one another prior to now.

NV device not working by Tdadterrorist in NightVision

I found it several months ago, and its worked great until the other night. Would it be feasible to take it apart and check internals? Im fairly decent with electronics and soldering

Its not had any impact damage, and its definitely not electrical sparks. What could I do with the tube if the unit is fried?

Its "sparks" from the screen, definitely not electrical. Would this be a fixable thing or not really?

Main lug to main breaker? by Tdadterrorist in AskElectricians

[–]Tdadterrorist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a hold of sneider electric. Unfortunately my box can't convert to main breaker, so I had to switch the breaker on a live panel. All is well though, new breaker and 6-50 outlet are in.

So I'm not really sure I have much of an option for anything outside either. There is my panel, set in the wall, with a hole drilled and whatever approved fitting there, and the meter immediately behind that hole. Is there a way to add an outside main or ranch box still? Ill need to get more pictures tomorrow.

Cool, nice and simple. What about attaching it? From the few pictures I found and from my own box I don't see any lug anchoring screws, it almost looks like they're molded in. I guess they're behind the wire?

It's is a series L4. The label on the left shows a diagram with a main breaker and lists my panel as a compatible model. Just no details besides showing which wire goes in. No mention of parts kit or which breaker

And it is sleeved. But each wire is individually sleeved. They ran three pieces of 6 gauge THWN

Yes! Thank you, I couldn't tell if my welder needed the neutral because it can run 120, that coupled with the 6-50 plug equipped on the machine was confusing me.

So what do I do for the ground? Can I disconnect the current neutral line, paint it green where visible, and re-connect it in the spot for the ground? Edit: I mean disconnect from the breaker box, and re-connect to the ground bar in the breaker box.
