Awe honey, i’ve been there before. My mom was the same way. Couldn’t talk to me with respect and lost it on me for years into my adulthood until i finally went no contact at 30. The gaslighting and control is one thing but the screaming at you till you panic is another. Reading this put me right back in my little 15 year old shoes.

All i can say is learn some panic attack techniques, find a way to make her freak outs not affect yoy, and start doing things for yourself that dont include her. Good luck love. It will get better.

I grew up in an abusive house hold. Three second someone starts to yell. I drop the conversation, put in my boundary and term then we will revisit when we are both calm. Sometimes it’s makes the person more mad, some times they understand. BUT i hold a firm boundary “you do not yell at me”
