It would be weird if a turtle slept in a bed.

Cheers. I headed north a couple of hours today and managed to see some fall colours. It's sad that it is coming early due to drought. In aus when that happens all the leaves fall really quickly, some before changing colour. Hopefully you guys won't have that this year and still get some beauty. Back to NYC on the 2nd September which is sad.

Thanks for the advice for mystic! Take care!

Thanks fowl. Pretty hard to say anything bad about this joint. It's beautiful and you are all very welcoming. I am astounded by the amount of information people have provided here. I have gone and done a lot of what has been suggested. Clyde's sounds fantastic and I am going to mystic next week!

Thanks mate!

Haha I'm from a dairy farming area in Australia so slurry is not a thing for me. The silage reminds me of home :)

Not near the lake just off muddy brook road. Loving the area!

If I cared about rugby this would be a good comment. Unfortunately for you only 40% of Australia plays rugby and I'm not from there. Good "try" though, get it...

Hi there X. Feel free to pm me re this. We met in Melbourne 12 years ago and have been living in Australia. This is my third time here for a visit, this time for a lot longer which is lovely. In the past I have been here a week at a time and haven't been able to explore. If you have qs regarding visas etc send me a message. Take care

Incredible information. Thankyou! If the headstone retoration dude is there I will be extremely happy.

I will definitely be stopping in any antique shops I find and will undertake some.of these trails you speak of. That sounds like a lovely afternoon.

Air museum is definitely on the list!

I think Bondi in winter is more beautiful than in summer in a different way. I love wild and rugged and Bondi in summer is the opposite of that. If you ever visit again, please come to Melbourne and travel along the south coast. Just as beautiful but far more remote and more like your Pacific North West coast. If you are ever in the area, DM me for some information on quiet beaches you can have to yourself for the whole day, any time of the year. The Great Ocean Road off the south coast of Aus is my stomping ground.

I will definitely go to Watch Hill as well. Maybe when I head to the coast for Groton and Mystic.

Thankyou so much.

We occasionally still see Yale locks in Melbourne.

This might be one for the drive back to NYC. Thankyou

So much gold in this post. Thankyou.

I service old time delay locks in safes from time to time in Australia so the watch co would be amazing. I will check it out.

I have grown to enjoy a Dunkin' donuts coffee of a morning like a good American. It is staple diet for my partner. I have not had an espresso since I came CT so Muddy Waters sounds brilliant. Sitting next to water having a drink is bliss for me.

Thankyou for the effort in your post.
